Scammers spent few dollars just the phishing website of Poloniex it seems to be true.  I checked it already and you noticed it's a different URL name but if you're lazy enough to check the domain name, most likely you will fall as their next victim.

Based on the Who.is site.

A new fresh-baked website pretending to be a real official site of Poloniex exchange platform.

BTW, I reported the phishing link to Google, this site will be shutting down as soon as possible, and to make it quick action to them as well, I hope everyone will do the same, just report them.

Thanks for the head up.

The site that I said is dead and indeed they will create a new phishing site targeting many people, not closing the possibility of making the Poloniex site again different from the original domain, scammers are now smart enough that they will continue to process so that many are fooled by it Therefore, verifying is an important thing or in any way you can to avoid phishing sites that are advertised on Google.
I'm even more likely to expect more phishing sites targeting large exchanges, big projects and also some of the coins they duplicate.
Then it is our duty as a member of this forum to continuously fight these scams and inform the people about this phishing websites that imitates the legitimate ones, to all the newbies out there, remember that you can ask in this forum what is the domain of the legitimate site so you can be assured that you aren't landing on a phishing website.

It looks a little better, because the security risk is already showing. As a result, any user will give a warning before entering this website. This website is showing security risk which means scammers will no longer use this website to scam. They will create another new website and resume their activities. So we have to be more careful now so that their new website can be detected.

I did check the website:

Quote
Warning: Potential Security Risk Ahead

Firefox detected a potential security threat and did not continue to m-polonieix.com. If you visit this site, attackers could try to steal information like your passwords, emails, or credit card details.

What can you do about it?

The issue is most likely with the website, and there is nothing you can do to resolve it. You can notify the website’s administrator about the problem.

At least it was denoted as Security Risk already. I saw similar fake Poloniex as well, but the websites are quickly being taken down. It seems that fake and high risk phishing sites are being down ASAP. Perhaps it was being reported very fast so that no one can fall for it. Good find.

Domain information

I didn't find any info about this domain.

Now all forms of phishing have occurred and they have cloned big exchanges to get a lot of trapped people, so I'm just here to see other people take a closer look and check in more detail with the real exchanges.
