He scammed me via IRC. He is a pro. I hope someone gets him arrested soon.

Yeah.. he likes to pretend to be exchange owners on IRC too. Pretty messed up. Remember to check for the moderator flags in IRC.

Something to note, Bittrex only does business over their email listed on their site. They do it that way so there are records.

What's up guys. I just wanted to alert those of you that use twitter that there is a guy sinking all of his time and effort into impersonating twitter users to scam people over DM.

His major MO is impersonating exchanges and asking for btc to add coins, as well as pay to enter groups.

He is pretty good at faking the names and buys fake follower stats.

He usually has 1 - 3 tweets showing in his feed only, and sometimes manages to have his feed include a loading icon making it appear as though the rest of the tweets are still loading.

I've seen him impersonate:

Exchanges Impersonated:
Bittrex
Cryptsy
Bleutrade
Poloniex

PROFESSIONAL EXCHANGES WILL NEVER ASK FOR BTC OVER TWITTER!

Traders Impersonated:
Fontase
WhaleClub

I know he's impersonating others I just can't pull all I've seen to mind.

If you see an imposter account, or have fallen prey to this, please post here with information.
