Thank you for sharing this warning, it seems that the scammer is in a hurry to catch up with the trend, as the site was created on 2/5.
I hope that there will be a feature in the browser that shows you the date of creation and update of the site, which will be useful in identifying phishing sites and giving notices early.
Scammers are always waiting for new trending news that creates massive hype in the crypto market, and they use that hype to create fake websites to scam crypto users.
SUI was the most trending in the crypto market a few days ago and crypto users were keen to see who could be the first to get this token. And using that interest, scammers have created many phishing websites of such fake airdrops.

Judging from the phishing list, there are already 4 fake airdrop sites with the name SUI, maybe only a few parts have been found and published on forums as a warning, while there are still many fake airdrops out there that haven't been revealed, but with this awareness, especially for beginners who don't If you know anything about airdrops, avoid projects that are not clear, let alone offer airdrops with very high rewards by ordering them to make a deposit, this is clearly a scam.

Whenever there is a successful project and its tokens are listed on reputed exchanges, the scammers will make efforts to create a phishing site with the exact name, for me this is no longer surprising, but for beginners, maybe they will believe a little.

It happens when the project is very hype like a couple of months ago is Arbitrum. and usually in form of airdrop with claimable like this and there is people who fell into this because who do not want the free token right?  Grin

I usually check the sites with who is or check the smart contract address because if the smart contract address is closed source and don't match with official address is totally scam

Thanks OP.
With the official SUI that has became successful on their work recently, there's the other one[1] that's also posted on this section giving warning to the others.
These scammers are in a hurry because the hype is still on it and is fresh before it totally goes off and its hype to be gone, they're doing everything to trick newbies and mostly, those that aren't aware that they're a real scam. And whichever platform, we may find them just as these that has been exposed.

Currently, there is a lot of hype about the Sui project in the crypto market due to the large exchanges supporting this project. As a result, scammers are exploiting this trend to target crypto users with airdrop offers. So that crypto users connect their wallets to that fake website to claim airdrop, and in the meantime scammers steal crypto users' wallet information. So till now there is no announcement regarding the separate website of sui's airdrop, so be careful.
Thank you for sharing this warning, and indeed until now, the hype is still going on over Sui coin even after its listing in the exchanges; scammers take advantage of any popular event to spread their traps and scam and phishing domains, so it is better for anyone not to believe and not to link his wallet to any site if It was to claim an airdrop from a coin that will be newly listed on Sui Mainnet or to mint any NFTs for new projects on Opensea, because they are 99% scam, and they will steal the victims' funds in the end, Twitter is now flooded with scams, and there is no censorship, so it is better when anyone sees these domains are completely ignored or reported them.
