Lol, I saw similar on this that you need to send a small amount just like Ethereum and they will send back their token right after they receive your Ethereum and yes, I received but until now didn't have value.  So it's a scam, IMO.

It similar to this and it's a very common trick to them offering to double your coin depend on what amount you have sent.  I thought airdrop is totally free, but why users required to send UNI first, it obviously looks suspicious and those who are greedy people will probably their first victim.

Anyway, is anyone here already report the scam Ethereum address that the scammer used?

Thank you for sharing this OP.

This is the most common and popular scam method nowadays. When I open Twitter accounts, many such links are noticed from there although I can't post them due to lack of time. I believe this is a team of a scammer. Because they simply use the same template just changing by domain Mae and logos. All other methods are the same as before. However, I believe more crypto users are familiar with that kind of fake giveaway, and they would save their funds as well from a scammer. Anyway thanks for raise up on this forum. Hope newbies would learn from here.

Yes, this is the most common and very popular method by scammers. It's really sad that such platforms like any others have been taken advantage by cyber criminals. Yes, groups of scammers, many of them, some are old and some are venturing because it is easy money. The account is still very much active, so I also reported it, and I do hope that Twitter will react and ban this account for good (if this is sold or hack account).

Every time they create fake giveaway websites to scam people. Their main purpose is to find effective ways to scam more people by using the names of trending projects and promoting them quickly. For this, they collect old Twitter accounts in various ways, whether it is hacked or in any other way.

Now if you see any kind of giveaway promotion on Twitter, you have to check it well. And the real giveaway will never ask for money to be sent before.

Actually this has happened a lot in the case of Twitter with account sales, hacked accounts and also they create more accounts it could be possible, basically when a trend occurs, scamers always make fake ones in making other giveaway clearly visible. followers are large while they only have 2 tweets that means they deleted all previous tweets.

Yeah, maybe we should report it so that no one sees about the fake promotion they did, even we are tired of seeing it but still we have to reveal this case so that there are not many victims.

This is definitely a hack account, created on 2015, but the post is mostly non-English and then suddenly it is promoting Uniswap bounty.

Not sure though if the original owner is aware, or probably sold his twitter account as well. But I will lean on the former though, hackers are targeting old twitter accounts specially with a lot of followers/following.

Anyhow, we should report this twitter account as well for promoting this fake and scam Uniswap airdrop.
