I've also seen some scam app advertising their site in some advertising platform, I even have my share of doubt clicking on the advertising link on google nowadays.
now even playstore and app store is not safe, really make me think hard how a platform that's supposed to be strict and be the only source of app (app store in this case since they doesn't allow sideloading) can just let some scam apps slip through, didn't they recheck?

app store is famous for having really strict publishing rule and yet this kind of thing could happen. google play on the other hand is also more or less the same, their regulation of app publishing also become stricter. but that doesn't seem to work really well doesn't it.
It just shows us how smart these fraudsters are actually becoming and how they have adapted swiftly to these things soon new precautions will have to be taken or else more people will fall victim
Before now I download apps from.play store with all assurance that's they are safe bur since I came across that article it really made me to think about some of the decisions I've made or some of the apps I have downloaded
The only thing I can say is we should try to be more careful and do.more research before engaging into something new
Because the fact that the app made it to top 100 really shows that no one is safe anymore
Stay safe

In more news, please be careful when using these apps. There has been a surge in the amount of fraudulent apps now available on the Play Store and apple Store

Polen CM, another fraudulent app, successfully scammed some people even after being flagged
You can't blame the individuals as some of them may not be aware that these apps are fake,
So please do well to stay safe and try and find more information about an app before entrusting it with your money

Hopefully, someone will find this useful, but in the early hours of today, it was reported that a scam app had made its way to the top100 finance app across counties like Europe,USA,New Zealand and some other countries
This app, which goes by the name
Curve defi is a mirror of the app Curve finance and has already been reported. Hopefully, apple takes it down as soon as possible before a lot of people get hurt
Please do well to stay away from the app
