The ALPACA token was listed in binance a few days ago. This token binance lists hopefully they have verified everything properly, yet traders must trade with caution. Because it is not possible for anyone to find out the purpose of the people behind the project.

And I don't know much about the rest of the tokens on your list. But on the basis of what you are suggesting that these projects will scam people, with evidence to discuss in detail, then everyone would be wary of these projects.

This ALPACA token is different from which the binance listed. The one that binance listed has a contract address of 0x8f0528ce5ef7b51152a59745befdd91d97091d2f  (https://www.coingecko.com/en/coins/alpaca-finance)  while the scammer token contract address is 0x026222b0954457b5b12fa5fd8471238cf4e6749c

Is there any way to get rid of these tokens from our wallet ?
I know i don't have to swap them but sometimes if you have more token you can accidentally swap and lose funds. Should be a way that we can drop these scam tokens from our wallet ?

Not that I'm aware of. Just ignore them. 🤷‍♂️

Lets hope some day we have a solution for this.

Don't bother risking your wallet over scammers, you'll just regret it . Just ignore the noise and focus on the tokens you actually either signed up or paid for... Roll Eyes

Cheers and be safe!

I didn't do any research on the polygon shit-tokens, but overall it seems there are more scams on BSC than POlygon, but IDK, maybe it's just me. Roll Eyes

Be careful out there. Nothing is free, scams everywhere as well - always remember that! Wink

Seriously when I saw the coin I knew it might be a scam coin but I can't really jump into conclusion so I decided to give one a trial which is Minereum which directed me to there website and I was asked to update my coin and I have to pay first. I did that just to be sure they are scam coin and I can report them so that other people won't fall victim, I risked my  wallet just to be sure they are not legit so that I can report them.

I've been getting some coins in my wallet that I didn't buy or work for, and I have no idea how they got there. I did some research on the coin because I don't recall buying or working for them, and my research revealed that they are definitely a scam coin. I suspect that not just myself will have received these coins, therefore if you receive or notice them in your wallet, leave them alone and don't try to swap them.

I tried to swap MINERIUM coin on BSCSCAN which was not successful and I tried to send it to Hotbit exchange which it told me fail and i was charged little amount of BNB from my wallet. I was directed to there website to upgrade the coin which before I can do that I have to pay first.
There are a lot of people now that are merely after your money and want to figure out how to acquire access to your funds, so you must be cautious whenever you are swapping any coin to prevent losing your money and putting your wallet at risk.

Sometimes you will get freecoins in your BSC or Eth wallet. Please do not try to swap them on etherscan or Binance smart chain, as i have known many people who have been scammed in this way and they have lost all their funds in their wallet as soon as they approve them.

This single line is enough for experienced crypto users to detect the smell of scam.

Never run after this type of coins which are nothing but a money stealing trap. In their language its upgrade but in our language its the common way of collecting money from newbies. You can share all your mentioned projects website link here and hopefully that's gonna help our forum scam busters to investigate and publish complete topic about every single project.

Although you did a little mistake by trusting on one of this project but after losing the little amount of money you felt it necessary to share with everyone here. I wanna personally give you thanks for that. Good job.

In any case, as long as you have other money at that address, do not visit any unknown site or link your wallet to it, and thus you will reduce the risk of hacking your currencies.
And if you think that these coins have value, then withdraw all your money from the address and then you can do whatever you want.
In general, 99.99 of these coins are worthless and the rest are scam.

Those scam coins are actually elaborate and it's my first to hear of this coin and this modus operandi that they employ where they bait you into buying/upgrading your coin. Good job OP giving warnings to newbies like me in regards to this kind of schemes.

I just look at it like this -

If you get airdropped shit-tokens, just ignore them unless you can find any reliable info on them. Usually, they are just a waste of time/life .... 🤷‍♂️

You can read this : https://www.bsc.news/post/airdrop-scams-minereum-mneb-and-velochain-velo-land-on-binance-smart-chain

One lesson you should learn, If you got some random token you don't know never tried to exchange them and approved the contract most of the time you will get hacked/phising. BSC/TRX/Polygon/ETH chain currently being targeted for dusting attack the smart-contract sometime automatically send the fake/scam token when you doing transaction.

I'm not familiar with any of those names--are they tokens or coins?  Did you receive them in your ETH wallet by any chance?  I know sometimes on networks like Tron, various crap tokens get airdropped without you having to do anything, so I'm wondering if that's what happened in your case.

But if you got those coins/tokens for free, I don't see how you can get scammed by owning them (as long as you don't buy more).  Suffice to say, this doesn't sound like a real scam accusation.

It's ridiculous that you don't know how have you received that coin. Because it seems you have been joining many bounty campaigns. Most probably you received from bounty campaigns or airdrop. Otherwise, maybe a few projects collect your address from airdrops or bounty spreadsheets. Because sometimes a project makes fake transactions in various addresses to misguide investors.

Anyway, you haven't used the proper scam accusation format. Please write more details if you have about these projects.
