I'd bet the scammers behind ovextrade are still around, and if not, someone else has stepped in to take their place.  Trying to keep up on all the scam websites would be a full time job, and it's always going to be "too little, too late."  URLs are cheap.  As soon as they're exposed they ditch one URL for another in a heart beat, and start all over again.

The important thing to keep in mind:  If someone requests a deposit so you can withdraw "your money" it's 100% a scam.  Forget about the money they're in possession of that you think is yours, you'll only be giving them even more.

I don't think you will be able to track them down minus spending lots of money. Best thing to do right now is to just create scam accusations as their domains don't stay online for so long

Since the subject is still ovextrade.com, this site now appears to be offline. So they can't scam people with that anymore. Or someone else has to buy the domain again  Smiley
They usually create hundreds of more similar domains like the one @CharlesWard  just reported here. So the scamming doesn't end at overtrade.com going offline.

Hello guys, I was probably just made up by the same guys... same Company.

www.indexi.net

I will be checking it out. I have got some aces on it... And would like to ask you for suggestions.
What I mean is just ... If you would have this possibility, how would you proceed to be able to oppress them and then put them down?
If somebody is here around, eaze the mind, and tell few ways, how would it be possible, I will try to put the people together, based on these proposals, and make something real from this. Just for slight revenge.

I wanna know who they are, where they are, how they communicate, what can be their weakness from what you think you know.
Will keep you informed ... Supposing you will gimme some ideas. And no stress, I have got great overview, so do not be affraid to be silly a bit.
Just tell me the border lines.. I should be able to overtake it based on this.
(personally have some idea, but wanna hear more... )  Kiss Roll Eyes

Hi All

I've seen your post on the bitcointalk.org regarding the scam you've been through.

I had the same issue few months back. The scammer technique was different as he approached me on facebook and after we chat i ended up loosing my bitcoin deposited on the exchange as they keep on asking various fees to withdraw the money.

The website i was scammed was https://bizztraders.com and i want to shut them down really and sue them.

But can't seem to find who owns it.

It looks identical with https://www.coinbeaxy.com but different domain.

Do you have anything on your hand? Any leads? How can we shut these domains down and find out who is behind it?

Thank you for your time.

You tried to take what wasnt yours but clearly they scammed you. They are also using the same exchange software of all these other scam exchanges named on this thread. They are the same scammers but they invented a cleaver way to exploit human greed by publishing the login and password to an account with a fake balance and then ask for fees to scam you. Make them pay high for scamming you and open a thread with their exchange name on the title.

Watch for this site https://cryptotradego.com/

Its a SCAM and i got burned very bad.I found a username and password in pastebin.com and entered them and i saw there over 5 BTC.And then i started chating with the support thinking it was a real support.I paid 0.02 BTC to start withdrawing, then 0.035 some insurance and at the end he/they wanted me to deposit 0.05 for Premium account. And i got confused but it was ro late. This is why you must double check sites where there is no security(just the telegram security code).Anyway i searched and found the number of the company, but it is one with expired day.Company Number was OC393265 which is for LA CLOTHING SOLUTIONS (MIDLANDS) LLP.

Interesting, looks like they are massively cloning those sites using the same script, my question is if there are reports of scams already.
I also found this one using the same script https://www.coinbeaxy.com/  --  Warning, dont visit the site, is probably a scam

Hmm, thinking about it aren't those just part of the same telegram scam with the Chinese with the blocked funds?
https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/report-scams-and-frauds-exchangers-by-edgar-5163819
Or it's different teamSmiley

They are for sure inspired with them, but I can't be sure if they are the same behind this scam.
They mostly use Discord to 'promote' this
It could be that fraud that has the same pattern with the addition / difference that is slightly clear needs to be considered and observed is the same person.
it is possible that it might happen but there must be something that can reduce it so as not to cause many people to experience fraud and increase and become increasingly rampant.
clearly this kind of trait must be examined and so as not to be reluctant to give broad information to more people to know.

Morons  Cheesy

They are probably using this fake exchange in combination with telegram and discord, where they send PM
and they tell people how they won XX btc, so they need to register and find out that first they need to deposit bitcoin, if they want to withdraw.
Everything is fake.

More similar scam exchange websites here, Looks like they are back again with a dozen clone websites.
- https://padhex.com - Online
- https://genecryptotrade.com -Online
- https://swiftcoinbitx.com - Online
- http://bitmerger.com - Online
- https://www.delltrade.com - Domain suspended
- https://blmtrade.com - Domain Offline at the moment
- http://lutidastore.com - Domain Offline at the moment
- http://coinmex.org - Domain Offline at the moment
- http://bijora-btc.com - Domain Offline at the moment

Good findings. If there was any doubt all those clones make it clear that they are managed by the same person and that this person is a scammer. This user seem to be connected to the exchange, as he is using it for suspicious loans: https://bitcointalksearch.org/user/reechealo03-38687

It is 100% a scam.

They are using a very common scam template of many of these fake scam exchanges. I have seen at least 4 of them last month.

This template is from of these websites where they give you "free coins" in a giveaway but... you obviously need to deposit to withdrawal the coins. I will find a post made on the Portuguese board where the domain is different (other website) but it is literally an exact clone of this site.

It is either the same guy behind all of them or someone is selling them the script/source of the website so other people can scam.

Edit:

https://unictrade.com/ < SCAM!
Notice the website. Smiley

An 1=1 clone but with a different name.

ovextrade.com appears to be a scam.

Their "about" page claims they've been around since 2014, but then contradicts it's self further down the page stating they were founded in 2016.  According the the WHOIS data the domain was created on 10 OCT 2019.

The Terms of Service page is plagiarized from this site: https://exmo.com/en/docs/agreement

According to user Mosperian ovextrade.com requires a deposit of 0.015 BTC to make a withdrawal of funds that are already in your account.  He was directed there by loan scammer.

He will send you the money on ovextrade.com and require you to deposit .015 btc in order to withdraw from the shady looking exchange to an external wallet. Sent me 1.5 btc when I really only wanted .1 and it's locked on this site. I doubt the BTC actually exist it's probably just a displayed number. He also makes you send a long video reading off a bunch of stuff. It's very shady. I wouldn't suggest anyone do it. I was just desperate because localbitcoins put me in a bad situation.
