Just wondering on why there are people easily believe on such things knowing how shady the giveaway is and we can use google or the search bar of twitter if we want to verify the real Elon twitter handle but unfortunaly many newbie got mistake to do this since most of their victims always think that they can earn big in  return.
This is the same in real world, police and prisons exist, but why is there still robbery, theft etc.

Sometimes people who are smart and have extensive knowledge can be deceived, with this mode, they are fraud perpetrators who assemble in such a way with the original owner, the victim feels sure, is really genuine, even denies it's fake.

In cases like this, most people are hypnotized without thinking long in depositing money with the lure of big profits, when they realize that the site is a scam, they just regret it, that all this time what has been talked about is a lie, for that before doing something you must think about it, don't look for shortcuts, generally you can fall into the abyss.

It's one of the schemes, a tactic that is often done by fraudsters to find prey, such tricks are quite easy to raise money in the fastest time.

I've seen that kind of thing happen a lot lately.
Example:

Elon Musk impersonators have stolen more than $2 million in cryptocurrency since October

@Elon Musk, never did anything like this, it was done by scammers to convince everyone, now only people will think that kind of thing is a lie, never send your crypto/money in any form, the risk can lose everything you own.

As you said we really need to be aware and don't send our Crypto to anyone especially those who open up a giveaway then offer to give a huge return if we deposit some amount unto their wallet since its a big scam.

That's a huge amount of money with that huge amount it's really worth their time, effort, and money no wonder these scammers are not stopping because there are still many newbies in the industry majority of these newbies are not members of this forum, they believe on the hype and these scammers have good marketing skills, who would not fall to a channel with thousands of followers and many giving positive reviews of the airdrop.
We can only warn people the authorities should do their job to stop these scammers, they are growing and a real menace to the community.

I am seeing this type of scam attempt from several years ago. They tried to scam by impersonating reputed sites as well as reputed person. And this type of attempt mainly on telegram as well as twitter. They just made us confused by a letter or a symbol. And many people fall on this trap too.
True, they will only confuse us with the letters of the domain symbols to trick beginners who often enter into it and indeed this has been going on for years I have known for a long time, but for us it might not be surprising that there are advertisements or spreading on telegram or twitter while for those who do not know of course they will try it.
Everything we find, of course, we must report to the domain provider so that it is immediately turned off.

I'm no stranger to seeing scam images like this and there are always many who spread it on telegram channels with fake accounts, so don't ever write this url in your browser because obviously they will offer a doubler that is 2x higher than what you deposited, and This trick has been reported before, but they always appear with the new url name.
I hope no one ever writes or clicks on this url on purpose.
Scammers have been using telegrams extensively to promote these scams, but now they are using different ways to promote these scams. One of them is Twitter, which creates Twitter accounts using the names of many well-known people. They then use those accounts to give various fake replies to the tweets of big exchanges, CEOs, influencers, and scammers share the links with various tempting offers. So they will continue to do so in the future, so the crypto community needs to be more aware of this trap.
And Facebook is also the same, they always use a famous name to post it as if it's real but in reality it's a trap, so everything has indeed been infiltrated by many scamers including recently on Discord there is always the same thing happening and on behalf of the company so vigilance is indeed must be improved, while scamers will not disappear forever because they always have bad intentions by trapping them.
Every time there is a trend or trend in the cryptocurrency world, we must be observant and pay attention next to it, there are always scamers who infiltrate.

They have a lot of cohorts they hype the airdrop from their testimonials, if you stumble this the first you'll think it's legit, they spend money for launching these kinds of airdrops building followers and followers of their cohorts.

This has been going on for some time that means many are still falling sending them cash or providing their private keys but at least we are reporting this and marking it as a scam for those who take the time to research.
