Thank you for sharing this phishing scam and always double-check every link you click. Those scammers have a lot of imagination for creating a new attack of this kind.

Yup, I also got this one. It seems very much like the recent Binance ERC-20 token phishing email. I am pretty sure that the same guys are behind this. These guys just collect twitter usernames of the followers of a cryptocurrency account like Coinbase, add @gmail to those usernames and then send these mass emails. So anyone saying Coinbase account data got leaked is not true. What I would suggest is to use a different username for twitter than your email prefixes. You will receive less of these phishing emails. And when you receive these phishing emails, don't just delete them, but mark them as "phishing email", so that the harm is minimized.

Last time I got similar type of email with myetherwallet.com domain link but there were lots below m and w in the domain URL. Crypto world is full of innovative scammers... Grin

Stinking scammers! No legit organisation will ever ask for a private key, I reiterate your message to never give this out. I wouldn't even give it to my brother. lol

Dear community,

Today I received another scam email stating that Coinbase has introduced ERC20 token support. They are demanding Pvt key to import all your ERC20 wallet to Coinbase.

In a deeper look I found that Its a scam as sender email address was "Coinbase." <[email protected]> . It was not .com it was .coml.  Grin Grin

Landing page of the link was exact copy of coinbase landing page but the URL was https://colnbase.com. Did you noticed that "l" instead of "i".

So guys Stay away from such scams and always remember:

never share your Pvt. Key with any website
Never login through a link in you email always type address in bworser.

Stay safe...
