Recently there are lots of projects doing ICO. How do you select the project that you want to invest? How do you know it's worth it? And how do you get informed about the new project and details about its planning?

Here are my criteria:

1. Do they have a product in existence before their tokenization, ie... OMG and RvT
2. How far off is their product release? Sooner the better
3. How many people on their team and the team's qualifications
4. How many tokens max?
5. Are they solving a real world problem?
6. Do they provide staking rewards or a passive income?

Is the product/plan solid? Check out the white paper, github, business plan, and roadmap.

Is the team credible? Research team members and advisors. Look at their LinkedIn profiles.

Slack, telegram, discord chats are a great way to ask questions directly and get answers straight from the team. Unfortunately, phishing and scams are extremely common, so be on the lookout for scammers posing as team members, fake websites, etc.

Once you have done your research and decided on an ICO, make sure to go through official channels for instructions on how to participate.

Actually it's hard to know the project ICOs are worth due to we don't know the fact about the projects just read the white paper of the ICOs and innovation of the ICOs, I get info about the ICOs from the official website and bitcointalk ( reading and thinking the opinions from others users) about the ICOs before investment in those, usually I invested in ICOs with a little amount of money to anticipate the failed of ICOs.

first thing you should read their whitepaper , their goal for the ICO , and if its interest you and you know that project will be successfull to invest into. How to get informed , follow in their social media like twitter , facebook , telegram ,slack for their future details about their projects.
