That seems to be a conflict in story. But in the end, hopefully this website gets reported and that hopefully there wasn't really any heavy traffic in the first place because that means that the scammers has stolen quite an amount already. There will be people that are going to believe this kind of scam, the scammers just needs to be convincing and be good with their words.

The OP specifically created a theme to advertise this site, hoping to find simpletons who will believe him that this site is getting a lot of traffic. And if there is attendance, then there are results too. Someone, yes, be interested. Check it yourself, the site is not familiar to anyone yet.
