Coming from a new account and you go for it, then you have yourself to blame, people should be responsible, enough to know the truth and how these scammers works, people are looking for every opportunity to scam people and it's your responsibility to check it.

its also the reason OP is warning everyone who might fall for it. browser extensions are often used today and people are now comfortable downloading just about anything when someone says its good. there are attempts of cloning metamask and other chrome extension wallets as well, these are the ones that are likely going to succeed in hacking privatekeys from users who are unsuspecting and a redundant warning can be good.

He is telling you to install a new extension related to very reputed sportsbook with which anyone can double his/her bitcoins. Do not fall for it. 100% scammer will try to steal your bitcoins and other personal information which can be very harmful.
He locked his topic so I urge to mods to remove his topic as it is very easy for any visitor or newbie to fall for it.
