I don't know, but can anyone believe such an open fraud? I mean, just because Elon's name is on a project, does that mean it's going to work?
The scammers seem to be so lazy that they don't even bother to think, so I wouldn't be surprised if someone created a site called "ElonToTeslatobitcoin ".
The good side seems to be that Dogecoin hype is over and Elon Musk hype will soon be over.

There are still crypto newbies still living in the dark who idolized Elon Musk so much that don't care as long they think he's involved in the project, they're willing to invest as well. You don't know scams exist till you are scammed, so many people learn about scams after being scammed. This kind of topic helps.

Fake press news; not clickable

Fake social media pages;are  not clickable

These are two of the things I'm looking for, on a project, if you saw a popular Press release site and all of them are not clickable just meant to boost their project, I consider them a scam, some are even posting popular figures of Crypto influencers or developers just to get your attention, many scam projects do not have an active social media pages because they cannot show something other than the face of popular influencers or model.

LOL. Is there anything left? A few days ago, when Elon Musk announced that he was going to buy Twitter, A few scammers created a Token Named "ELON BUYS TWITTER". The surprising thing is that Coinmarketcap also listed them https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/elon-buys-twitter/. The Token already loses its 99.98% of value. This is the proof that every time they see a little opportunity to scam people, They never take the risk of missing the chance.
I'm really surprised by coinmarketcap lately, they seem very easy to add tokens/coins that are not clear to their list, this will definitely make newbies confused and think that it is a legit project. I hope there are not many victims (who invest in this token).

Developers love attaching Elon Musk's name to their shitcoin because it still sells, so many investors still love hype and FOMO because of what happened to Doge Coin, the hype is over and I don't think there will be a new meme coin that Elon Musk is going to hype.
If ever Elon Musk is going to support a coin it could well be his own coin, but so far Elon Musk has no intention of creating one, its just these scam developers that are feeding the market of Elon Musk's supported coin

What happened::
ElontoTwitter is a fictitious token/project with no whitepaper, no history, and is now trading on Pancakeswap and Poocoin.

Forget for a moment the whole Elon stuff, there is a Poocoin trading marketplace and it's legit and actively used?
I'm getting too old for this, clearly. Poo?coin! Seriously?

Anyhow, guaranteed 100% APY, 12x ROI, they could have named it Hulabalula and it would still have been a scam.

The scammers seem to be so lazy that they don't even bother to think, so I wouldn't be surprised if someone created a site called "ElonToTeslatobitcoin ".

You're going to regret thinking about it!  Grin

How come the name of a project on behalf of ELON BUYS TWITTER can enter Coinmarketcap, is this not verified by CMC so it's easier to find it there?
I'm sure if the token enters CMC many people will take the token seriously but in reality they are a scam and it has never been proven that this token will last longer in the market.

After I did a search for coins with the word ELON at CMC, it turned out that there were so many, but I never thought of putting money there.

CMC these days are no longer CMC on their former glory, project with enough fund can just pay a third party to help them getting listed. They'll help the project to meet CMC requirement for listing, like --fake-- daily trading volume, --fake-- bid/ask order, etc. And not only CMC, CG and other site alike too, as evidenced by an accidental self-incrimination by Tokpie during their case with one of their client

Isn't this obvious scam? Does Elon need to create new token as part of announcement on what action he do? Obviously not because only scammer do this and people need common sense regarding on this situation since 100% scammers only do this so its really basic scam attempt so hopefully no newbie will get scam by this tokens. To many of this will pop up in future so its better to ignore those obvious shitty tokens and never think about flipping it.

Not really sure how's your report will help other people from this site, because no one created ANN thread of this scam sites. I also wonder how someone can easily get trapped when the URL name is really odd, elontotwitter? no way anyone will believe such URL and there are a bunch scam website with odd URL out of this forum. I can't imagine how this forum will be messed up with the Elon scam sites in this board.

Only clear-headed and conscientious people don't think about Elon's jokes, I've seen many types of crypto memes and jokes that give ELON the first and last name.
Example:
ELONDOGE, TWEELON, ELONONE, ELONHYPE, ELONBANK, ELONCola.

Regardless all coins are scam or not, it never crossed my mind to trade or invest in the name of ELon coin, no matter the coin is bad or good.

What's more now it's clear that there is a new type of crypto called (ElonToTwitter), obviously the name is boring, what's more, the coin has an element of fraud, definitely not a type of coin that is worth considering.

ElontoTwitter is a fictitious token/project with no whitepaper, no history, and is now trading on Pancakeswap and Poocoin. It takes advantage of Elon Musk's newly bought Twitter to run its nonsense, leading people to assume it is in partnership with him. Please stay away from this project it's pure scam.

A 3 days old site.
