Here is the thing dear Honda, scams are not moderated, it takes a lot of time to do that, also no such scams should be posted on tech related boards, and if anyone sees them there, don't trust any of them. Someone could post a similar link in there and it could remain there for days, but it doesn't mean if a link or a user is not dealt with, their link/site should be considered legit, NO, even if you see the admins trying to suggest you something, do your own research first, that's why they posted a scam ICO 5 years ago called howey coin, to warn people not to blindly support and accept everything.

Moderators can't go check our claims to see if what we report is true or not, but reporting a site saying walletsupportdesk. Something as a phishing site needs no further investigation, it also depends on who is doing the reporting and who handles the report.

Strangely, seclog did not shows any change in password and/or email, so I don't think it's a hacked account, but their past post history shows some interest in the topic, I can't fathom why they change course and decided to try their luck in scamming people.
It's strange that it was banned, it seems that it was reported to be malware because we rarely see an account banned due to scam.
In general, it is good that it no longer exists. Such a scam is easy to detect, and a bad website design will raise suspicions. I just hope that such topics are reported quickly.

Yes very strange as I haven't seen such a quick action from the moderator before. I reported one member in the past who was spamming with fake github phishing app but he was not banned for many days and his spamming not stopped for 5 days. I think the moderator action depend upon how serious the site is. In above case the member site directly asked for Phrase which is very clear method of scam, The reason for quick banned.

When someone goes to an important forum board to post "give me your seed" that is no longer problematic to determine whether it's a scam or not, there is no biased judgement of moderators. You see, when they say scams aren't moderated to prevent abuse, that's good, but this is too obvious of a scam attempt, there is no room for any moderation bias.

If you see anyone asking you directly to give them your seed phrase on a free site like weebly, without providing any backgrounds, report it, whether they get banned or not, it's up to the mods, but do you think this user is going to come back complaining about being banned?

There is a limit to everything, even to freedom, you can't let people to be free to do whatever they want, it can't happen, nobody can live safely if that happens.

 Grin Grin

It seems that this scammer is not targeting beginners, but rather targeting people who may be unbalanced or crazy. Cheesy
He could not even place an effective connect button for the wallet but instead had put a rectangle for entering seed phrases. He was not content with this level of absurdity, but he put a very cunning scam trick on the free Weebly platform so that he would not bother to buy a domain for a few dollars. Really, he's a comical and greedy scammer.

Thank you OP, and it's a good thing his account is banned now, so we don't die laughing xD

Not only the mod deleted the thread, the account also got banned, nice work.

Good, much needed quick action against serious scammer. Actually this was a direct scam attempt without using any smart trick which is the reason the account banned instantly. Usually member got temp ban for 3 days if issue is not so serious like this

Yes, it also surprised me because account was well active previousy. I also checked his account before going to report but there was no clues of hacking. Generally this kind of attempt is not expected from old user but don't know what's comes in his mind to take this step  Huh

Good work OP, Flag supported and add negative. DT member should support flag to warn everyone. This is worst step from old users as his history show that he is active here from 2018.

The fun fact is that he using free Weebly ""A free website builder "" for scam attempt. He is looking new and this maybe his first attempt to check here either it's work or not. I reported thread to the moderator and hope it will be deleted soon

Tag the hell out of that idiot, I reported it before seeing your post here. Edit: I'm excited I think this has been my first or second support on a flag, I liked it because it was too obvious.🙂

What happened: victoria444 created a thread to trick people to share their seed phrase to this site. This is definitely scam since there's no one including the wallet's creator will ask their users to write down their seed phrase.
