It is still up, so I reported them to: https://safebrowsing.google.com/safebrowsing/report_phish/?hl=en.

I do hope that no newbies are going to fall for it. Scammers are really good following crypto related projects and when they see opportunity like this, simply created a site and then just wait for someone to get victimised.

About a week ago Tezos got listed on Bithumb and this exchange actually held a BTC giveaway campaign as a way to promote the event.
They announced it over Twitter, here > https://twitter.com/bithumbofficial/status/1295970154640297984
That’s why scammers targeted Tezos and trying to make get some token from XTZ holders. I have seen some XTZ related promotional videos on youtube and some youtubers are giving their prediction about its future price possibility. Actually scammers launch this type of giveway related scam project when real project go through new listing or any event. As an example during binance anniversary we saw BNB related fake giveways.

This is a fake giveaway, according to scammers, if you send 1000 XTZ coin, you will get 10% bonus.

Using the names of each and every popular coin, now fake giveaway is coming. Their purpose is to scam people using the current market conditions. You know, when the market goes up, a lot of new people enter the market, and most of them don't know about scams properly and scammers take advantage of their ignorance. I hope newcomers will see this thread of yours, and keep themselves away from such scams.

Scammers are once again talking advantage
Maybe it was a typing mistake. Smiley

Any airdrop/giveaway will say like this must be a scam. It could happen in any project BTC, eth,ltc..............etc. So just we should avoid them. also, we should not promote them in social media.
BTW I have tried to check the tnx in the giveaway page. All are wrong/invalid. They just try to make fool newbies, But they are not successful IMO.

Scammers are once again talking advantage of that and creating their own fake sites to trick people into sending them money. Never send money to receive money and always confirm if a giveaway is legit by visiting official channels of the project.
