It seems to be working pretty well so far. The ETH account holds almost $20.000 worth of UNI tokens. Never underestimate what people will do based simply on just a promise of earning some easy money. Those are the people who will later complain that crypto is a scam but they wont question their actions that led them to getting scammed.

Good find, but 10,000,000 UNI? Lol, pretty obvious that this is a scam attempt. However, it seems that UNI price is going down, so I don't know if this is still going to be an effective way to trap newbies though. But I'm sure they won't stop though, this is the latest hype so they created a lot of websites with the keyword "UNI" and then spread it out to fake social media accounts as well. I reported it to Google to help bring this down.

The way these scams get propagated is that groups in social media get posted with offers to double their money and direct them to the site. Of course it is a trap but the greed kicks into those who are foolish and they get baited. Many groups have vigilant admins but scammers will also target those groups when admins usually sleep.

Just pump any newbie with some bullcrap about UNI going to become the next Bitcoin and they will fall for it. Not everyone entering this sector is as skeptical like us to detect these scams immediately. They just need one victim per day to keep their money going, sadly.

Wow thats a lot of uni to give and from the very start uni advise everyone to be alert and vigilant cause they are not giving any airdrops since their last activity. The chance of uni airdrop from my knowledge is the one that has been requested by 1inch exchange for their users as they claiming contirbuted a lot on volume on the uniswap. However didnt follow any news with this, so anything besides that are most likely scam.

Thanks OP for sharing this to the community. Im sure some will be interested with it due to the uni token value that has been seen.
