It's too late now, but unless you received a message on bitcointalk from monbux then it was foolish to believe a random skype person claiming to be that user. What is the point in involving an escrow if you don't actually confirm who they are?

It's probably true, but the thread link that you posted has no evidence of Foxy282 in it? Did they delete their post after you linked to it or were all communications through private message?

I posted a thread for an exchange to btc, some people reply on it but a lot more sent me pm's

Carefully check their feedbacks, even if only negative is for trading in anyone of them , that person is not trustworthy as it appears they have already scammed or tried to scam before. It is not difficult to find reputable exchangers in the currency exchange board, but always double check with whom you are dealing with, even if it is a user with green trust, check their trust to see if the email address or password was changed recently as this can mean the account maybe hacked.

One should always check the rating of an account . Following account was already red-marked for same thing as he was impersonating as sardasa in another case.

People should stop neglecting feedbacks under profile whether it is negative or neutral. Yet they know how to post scam accusation but never take caution prior to making deals.

What happened:

I wanted to exchange neteller to btc.
User    foxy282 contacted me to do the transaction with middleman in skype

I end up by exchanging from skrill to btc.
Another person join in the conversation to act as escrow and was saying he was user monbux (I believe this was a trick and it was not this forum user in fact but someone else)

escrow told me:

foxy282 send bitcoins to him
I was paying  him skrill
escrow was gonna provide me bitcoins
