you have two options. take the refund and exchange your coins elsewhere, or accept the TRX at whatever rate they offered you.
It's much better to base the exchange rate at the time the coins were moved from the simpleswap's wallet. 3 days is quite a long time, OP had to wait for his coins. It's not his fault that the service delayed exchanging his coin or whatever excuse they have
yeah, it's much better to do it that way, but i guess it's not profitable enough for them.
the way they have the floating rate selected by default, with the fixed rate hidden, and not locking the rate when the coins get confirmed, that's 100% shady by design to maximize profit.
but its not a scam, because they don't force you to agree to their terms or to use them.
it will still not be a scam imo, as long as they offered him a refund.
your feedback say "They refuse to pay the agreed swap under the pretext of market volatility."
they never guaranteed they would pay him the agreed swap rate, and the terms of service gives them the right to refuse, which OP agreed to.
trust me, i hope they do the right thing and send OP his coins at the ~534.150028 TRX rate, but i doubte they gonna do that from the way they are handling this.
i know the delay was not his fault, but my main point is that no matter how unfair we think the situation is for OP, he agreed to this shit show the moment he initiated the exchange. that's why it's important to read the damn terms of service.
and they updated their terms today to be even more unfair (not surprised at all).
