A year or two ago there were some scams, but lately it seems that its totally has gotten out of control. If the person doesn't have a very good rep, stay away.. its a shame that its come to this, but since bitcoin is very anonymous one must take all the care they can.

It's never a good idea to accept a reversible form of payment such as PayPal for BTC. If I remember correctly, chargebacks can happen up to 90 days after payment. If you still want to sell BTC for PayPal then not selling to newbies with zero trust and/or requesting ID is probably a good idea.
Yeah he offered to send a id, and said he was a male.. but its clearly a "female" paypal account smh

Watch out for https://bitcointalksearch.org/user/acescoins-204751 - Might be the same person under a different account Wink

If you didn't sent any btc to him then you just learnt a big lesson without investing anything, you can re-sell your btc to someone else but I wouldn't recommend Paypal.

Funniest part is he left me neg feedback and I have all the proof. Who do I contact to remove the neg feedback
The trust system is unmoderated, he is the only one that can remove it
Its alright because I know he will be caught and this is just a warning to everyone. I am a good person so i know people can see past that.

Did you sent him bitcoin, Mostly time I warned everyone on paypal deal but people don't listen and take risk.
I even warned on his trade that you will not find seller but can't help after that.
Right. I didn't send him btc thankfully, but almost did when he kept rushing me to send.

I'm warning eveybody about newbies and paypal, even paypal alone but nobody listens as the scammers always promises they won't  do it.
Do you guys think that scammer would someday admit that he is going to scam you? If so then something is wrong with you.

This is what happens when you deal with newbies instead of more trusted members. You did have several offers from others here, why would you deal with a member with no trust and paypal?

Pretty sure that user is an alt of naira4dollar, who has several accounts and keeps creating new ones here. This was also probably a man in middle scam, whoever sent that paypal to you probably got scammed themselves then charged back.
oh wow yeah this is my own fault. I had three offers but couldn't come to terms with them. Now u know :-( lesson learned.

What happened:: I needed some Paypal funds for my btc, and I couldn't come to terms with anther member but now I wish i have because i have a frozen account. This idiot sent me $130 and then demanded me to send the btc, but of course i let it sit in there to make sure its all good and what do you know! A block happens and I get a phone call from paypal. He used a fraud account and ficticious name. Credit card funded with it was not his. SMH Its my own fault. SO now they are holding my money hostage.

I'm on localbitcoins. U could charge back Paypal. So think about that. I'm going out on a limb trading with you.

I haven't done that before, except you don't send me my BTC, that's when I'll mail Paypal for fraudulent activity. You have my BTC address in your mail, so send it once I send you the Paypal.
just email me when it's sent and your btc will be on it's way.

I've sent you $130 Paypal. I'm expecting the BTC now

Additional Notes: I also have email conversation if they are needed. I should have known.. but i played fire with fire taking his paypal. Oh and his name is not the name from the paypal sending he used a fraudulent name.
