That's good to hear... So they only removed the carded games and gave your account back?

Yep. They actually left one on. Maybe that one wasn't carded, or they just felt bad. It was the cheapest game I bought anyways. So life's more or less okay.

I'm not going to scammer-tag someone after only a single complaint.

Irrelevant to the scammer stuff, but you should know that trading Steam games is against the Steam ToS. Your account can be frozen even if the seller doesn't do chargebacks.

Okay, thanks for the heads up. And Steam didn't seem to care too much. My account's functionality has been restored as of last week.

He really needs a scammer tag, so does gy.seven. Just heard that he was using Stolen CCs too. Had my Assassin's Creed: Directors Cut removed by Steam, and my account suspended. (Already was suspended, so... Double Suspended?)

He most likely bought the game with paypal,  then reversed the transaction - this will remove the game from your library.
Why your account got locked im not sure - ask for a reason? After all the game was gifted to you - how are you supposed to know if the 'friend' who sent it did something wrong

The dude was using stolen credit cards. Just got confirmation from steam support. Added it to the OP

country_marlboro seemed like a reputable seller at first, but after my third (and largest) transaction, I received a message from steam support telling me my account has been suspended, meaning I can't buy games, I can't send gifts, and I can't activate keys.

*No, I don't expect the steam techs to know what Bitcoin is, nor do I expect them to care, but I still included it.

He hasn't replied since he sent the game, leaving me stranded with only 0.5BTC remaining. Heh, so this is how I learn to "trust nobody".

I will post more detail as I have it.

(My best guess is that he was using stolen credit cards to purchase the games or something along those lines.)

Here are the transactions.

EDIT:

country_marlboro was using stolen Credit Cards. Confirmed by Steam Support.
