im talking about depth 1 members, not random depth 2 members!

i just added that to the op

It´s all random anons to me. Accounts are being traded all the time. I have no guarantees. Which is why I don´t use the services of these people. Never have.

I guess you don't trade at all then? Unfortunately there's no 100% safe way to do it. You either trust a "random anon" with deep green trust or a random anon without any trust at all.

I do trade but not with some anons on a message board that are vouched for by other anons that may have bought their accounts from yet another anons.

So you only trade in person? Yes I meant you don't trade at all here on bitcointalk.

Well, actually I´ve done one trade here for a small cloudmining contract. But that was without any escrow. I simply got full control of the account and then paid. Those were my terms.

If they are acting as escrow they are not helping the scammer. They are protecting whoever they are trading with.

I don't think it would be possible to forbid them from trading. They could just create a new account if such a rule is created. Trusted users can escrow to at least make sure they don't scam again and everyone is free to decide whether or not to trade with them.
If you see someone with negative trust is selling something you can just ignore it. I don't think there's a need to forbid them to trade. Things would just be worst if nobody trusted were willing to escrow.

Well, maybe the scammers bought those "trusted" accounts. It´s definitely not outside the realm of possibility. It´s best to not trust some random anons at all unless they can be verified. But then again who´s going to handle the verification? Some other scammers?

hi guys,

i wanted to know your opinion about something:

do you guys think it is ok for trusted members (im talking about depth 1 members) to help scammers in transaction?
like escrowing and whatever comes to your mind.

i dont want to call anyone out, but reading through some subforums i found some cases.

tbh. in my opinion it is a no go. scammers should and have to be excluded from trading.
there is no need to ban them (i doubt it would work either), but why still do escrow and other stuff helping them still making money?

everyone deserves a second chance? or just greedyness from our old trusted members?
