Any of powerbet.io victims would like to organize somehow and to try to see our problems resolved on court?

Considering the statements of claimants and based on my experience that victims are typically not willing to contribute anything to enforce their account balance, I decided to offer a "no cure no pay" Powerbet 75:25 litigation attempt:

Powerbet scam litigation 75:25 in process, join + claim your money!

I have sufficient info and documents to file criminal complaints at the police or start a court case if required, but I personally think that they will simply process your withdrawal, because everything else will become unlike more expensive for them.

Can you guys just quit with all these "jurisdiction" talk.
Besides, I don't see anyone "bragging" here, aside from the one who's always on about 'take em to court, juridical blah blah'(I have him on ignore  Roll Eyes)

@OP, are you even considering going to court? You have that option, true. But would you?
Of course, if you feel that you 'can't let them take your money and should stop them', then do so.
Do be prepared to spend your money and time, is what I'm saying. Consult with a legal counsel and see what your possibilities are.

Now, what I think is that Powerbet.io should return OP's deposit. I consider taking a players fund 'especially in this case' and without proper discussions/solid proofs of cheating, as shady behavior.
That's like stealing/using their so-called "sole discretion" to take players money.

You think there's a chance he might have had 'inside info'? Then VOID his bet, return his deposit, and ban him from your site. That's what a reputable site would do.
If you have me on ignore, how can you see my posts?

Take em to court is indeed juridical blah blah and criminals usually give you your money by itself! We also do not need polices and courts!

If something happened, we simply report it in the forums and everything will get solved! Cheesy

Thank you neochiny for your response...

You guys jnow anyon who is into this matter, anyone specialised for this cases?
Legal expert neochiny informed you that you can go to the court, for what do you need anyon?

You really have no idea how jurisdiction works do you!? yet you keep arguing about it,
if you just read at least one of the links, you'll understand at least the basics of jurisdiction
but your unreasonable sense of pride is limiting your understanding.
You really have no idea how things around forum work,do you ? You keep bragging about jurisdiction, which is the least important, cornered, small fonted section of the website as compared to flashy bonuses, deposits and cash-backs.Oh well, who's the hypocrite here ?
You will realize what injustice is someday when your hard earned money is taken away by the 'jurisdiction' which works one sides, always.

you said it yourself that they are in the same country!
Yes, each jurisdiction has they, so they is in the same country.

and please learn to read a sentence as a whole and understand it as a whole. do not break it so you can understand the whole sentence.
I understand that you are a 30 cents poster, but without content, no one can understand your sentences! Especially as your sentences make no sense, are not related to the reality.

jurisdiction limits the authority of the court especially is the person is in another country.
Which jurisdiction limits the authority of which court based on which laws in regards to which person that is in which country?

the meaning of jurisdiction itself can tell you why the court's authority is limited.
here you go I'll help you what is the meaning of jurisdiction and other types of jurisdiction. http://legal-dictionary.thefreedictionary.com/jurisdiction,https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jurisdiction_stripping and there is a type of jurisdiction that allows the court to have authority in other countries https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Extraterritorial_jurisdiction but it is limited and can be stripped. I'm referring to the second link.

by the way, it's if not is.

I did not read the links, but if a court is limited in other jurisdictions, then I go to the court in the other jurisdictions, because the court of a certain jurisdiction is not limited in that jurisdiction. Therefore, no idea what your problem is, especially as you still avoid to add content to your sentences.

Learn a thing or two about Jurisdiction.
What are the one or two things you learned about jurisdiction?

since they are in the same country filing a case is not a problem.
Who is in the same country? What is the name of this country?

and then this part of the sentence "if not then filing a court order is useless and he will waste more money by hiring an attorney." is irrelevant. because you said "yes" that they are in the same country.
Even if "they" are not in the same jurisdiction, YOU for sure do not know the court's decision!

Hi everyone

so let's get this post going...

I am new in this forum and I will try to explain my recent issue with powerbet.io

I made an account at powerbet.io more than 2 months ago and made a deposit of 0.57 BTC. Since then I played some bets (3 singles which I won and 1 parlay which I lost) and gather in total some 1.45 BTC. 10 days ago I received e-mail from them telling me that my account is flagged and asking me to submit required documents... Few days after I get this e-mail

"Hi,

We have found out that you're a professional basketball player, currently playing for KK-Vrsac-Swisslion. You also played for Metalac, OKK Beograd and other teams. According to our records, your betting activity is centered on Serbian basketball league, which is against our terms and conditions (you even bet on a game in which your team was playing). Our final resolution regarding your account will be communicated to you soon.

Kind regards,
PowerBet Support"

First thing to clarify: I WAS basketball player bu now in retirement for a year
my winning single bets were made on basketball matches in : Serbian league, Adriatic league, Serbian National Cup
Their statement "you even bet on a game in which your team was playing" was so wrong... I played for that team I placed bet on 3 years ago

After sending them links to official basketball sites where everybody can see I am no longer in any team roster, after sending them several e-mails and contacting them on this forum in order to resolve our misunderstanding I got one big nothing...

Honestly, I am not feeling like letting them take my money

Best regards

This isn't really their fault, to be honest.

To be honest if you ever played for any team in a professional league, whether basketball, soccer, etc. you should always, always avoid betting. Casinos will have an excuse to seize your funds and not give it back to you.

But as a bitcoin sportsbook, the main thing people want is anonymity. If they require so much from you maybe you should just use another sportsbook service instead, like Directbet.

Anyways, lots of scam accusations going on against powerbet. I think it's best for anyone to not use them.

Then there is nothing you can do but to wait to what decision they will make about your account.
He could request a court order? This is a basic human right.

from my point of view, they are using a legal way to scam people, they can easily say that the information you sent to them is false and you are still playing as a professional player.
You can not legally scam someone! Scam is always illegal....

The longer the day, the more they can say, but at a court they have to deliver proof of what they say! Civil courts do not work based on saying something, logic or?

what court are we talking about?
First instance.

are they in the same country?
Yes.

if not then filing a court order is useless
Based on which paragraph?

and he will waste more money by hiring an attorney.
Great! So you already know the court's decision? You probably can make more money as clairvoyant instead of 50 cents posts?

Understand it as a whole sentence, if you are trying to be smart by breaking down the sentence(which is unnecessary)
trust me your not.

this is "malikreten" speaking from a new username since my account "malikreten" is banned today

I am writing in order to inform you that I did not personally sent any phishing links to anyone (although I have noticed few of them in my outbox for the last 2 days). I was surprised as well, thought it is some kind of mistake.

sure scamming is illegal but the way he was scammed was legal they based the issue on one of their rules which
mean OP broke resulting to his account being locked

there are a lot of people in this world who have scammed but can't do anything because the scammer used a legal
way to scam people.

EDIT: It is worthless to continue this debate. OP is a phisher.

this is some of powerbet.io rules.

Upon placing a bet, the customer confirms that they do not have insider knowledge or any other equivalent knowledge of the outcome or the course of the respective sports event.

Placing of bets on sporting events in which the customer is participating is forbidden. Participation is when the customer takes part in the event as a sportsperson, owner, trainer or official of a participating club or as an organizer. The same applies if the bet is placed on behalf of a participant in the above sense.

this is where they are basing the issue. it will be hard for you to prove your case the only thing you
can do for now is submit more info to prove that you are not participating in any of the events.

still, I can't say that they are a scam.

anyway, I hope you resolve your issue properly.

A quick look at Online Gambling Scams would have avoided this accident!

Powerbet.io has no terms and conditions, so you are right. Unfortunately, enforcement of your right would be time consuming and expensive.

My suggestion is continue to drive cars without an insurance and ask for free help if an accident happened. No one is willing to pay your enforcement costs, but sometimes you could get lucky. Wink

Do not forget, in sport no one (even "insiders") can guarantee to you that they will win or loss...

I tried to talk with people from powerbet.io, I sent them several e-mails ( I was very polite), tried to contact member "powerbet.io" on our forum but all that in vain...

Before our little dispute, they told me my account is flagged and asked me for a scan of ID document as well as "selfie" with it, so I have provided it to them...

Their statemenet: "Our final resolution regarding your account will be communicated to you soon." has never happened apart from removing my balance

I am open for all suggestions, advices etc

I don't think that this makes them a scam, it just shows their logic.  From their perspective even if you weren't in the team anymore you might still have close ties to them and bet differently (it's not very different you being on the team vs. you just having insider information).

If you talk reasonably to their support, don't insult them and preferably help them to understand your situation, you'll probably at least be able to get your Bitcoin out of there to a site that won't bother you so much.

Hmm tricky one, as you still could have connections to your old team and/or other clubs in the league and thus easily get insider information.

Nine times out of ten I'm on the player's side when it comes to bookie vs player confrontations but in this case I would say the bookie has good reason to close your account.

But you definitely should get back your deposit. Whatever the bookies have written in their ToS not one single bookie has the right to confiscate other people's money. So I hope this will be resolved in your behalf.

Wow that's super fucked. This is yet the most hilarious condition I have came across!
Wait.Correct me if I'm wrong but aren't players allowed to bet on the matches ? Since when ?
How did they find out that information about you ? Did you submit documents before playing on the site ?
How did they find your doxx ? Will they be finding doxx about anyone playing on their site ?

This is intense.I skimmed through their terms and conditions,no rule has been defined that freezes a players account if they're associated with any teams or any games.Pure Scam.
