But this act is really harmful to the Bitcointalk community, if paying the sum will give a good result then why the long wait for action to take place.
If you get robbed in real life, would police compensate the sum? I do not know any rules in your country exist like this but in my country, police will only help to recover the fund from robbers.
You should save yourself, if mods team starts to moderate scam, a lot of bias issue will come which you can not imagine.

Greetings all, I think we are beginning to have more scammers in bitcointalk.org or let's say we already have them around us but increasing in numbers everyday and with a different patterns or tricks. Now I came across this user who has just try to pull up some tricks using a popular BM (bounty Manager) Tag on his topic of post as BOUNTY DETECTIVE

My question here is:
1. Are scammers really welcomed in the forum to stay for long.
2. Other than having a RT (red trust) as a penalty, is there no other ways this scammers issues can be addressed for them not to return to the forum again.

What the user is doing here is really trying to get participants that will definitely fall into his tricks to get them scammed. And in other words spoiling the name of BOUNTY DETECTIVE. Because with this act people will fall in thinking BOUNTY DETECTIVE made that post.

Strange that he used Bounty Detective tag but he is not from Bounty Detective. I think the user is trying to defame Bounty Detective or they are trying to use the fame of Bounty Detective to attract more users.
Anyway, it is not possible to moderate scam because they are a lot of scam method and if forum would moderate scam, they would be also liable to pay tge scammed sum.

He's not from bounty detective, what's happening here is that he might be trying to gain more participants. Such user/project shouldn't be trusted and think the project itself deserves a negative trust too for allowing the user to use that name to deceive people.

Anyway, it is not possible to moderate scam because they are a lot of scam method and if forum would moderate scam, they would be also liable to pay tge scammed sum.

It's not but with help of scam busters on this forum, they have no chance here. I've seen similar cases get busted within short period.

This is a good post, I really commend the OP on this, at least this will help the forum members know about the new strategies of these scammers.
We all need to be cautious about this, especially the bounty community, as this new method might greatly affect them.
I think the forum should find a better way to punish these type of activities.

Checking the bounty thread so far nobody is taking the bite, Bounty Detective should be aware of this so they can give the thread more red trust rating or invite DT1 to give one, creating a flag is also good so people will become aware of their malpractice.

My question here is:
1. Are scammers really welcomed in the forum to stay for long.
Answer to this is obvious and not even tolerated for long having some evidence and proof that he did scammed or planning a scam activity like this.

2. Other than having a RT (red trust) as a penalty, is there no other ways this scammers issues can be addressed for them not to return to the forum again.
If the person have red tagged already then everyone will be alerted not make any transaction or deal. Scammer as @Jawhead999 mentioned arent not moderated but you can always report to moderator any sort of activity he does that sound suspicious.

He is indeed using Bounty Detective format on Bounty, Im not sure if this can be flagged as plagiarism more likely not.

Now this is a welcomed note, I appreciate for letting me know better, if I get hold of such Matters again I believe with this clues I can handle them ASAP.

now that's the area am pointing to plagiarism. Which I believe everyone should stay away as soon as possible or likely the bounty thread should be limited.

TIMMZY move the topic to "scam accusation" using "move topic" in the left corner at the bottom.
There is nothing that will be done here in meta, unless you find out he is breaking rules that deserves a ban like plagiarism.

Oh I didn't notice I was probably looking forward to see where I can create this topic thanks for this heads up am grateful. Am definitely going to move it asap so others look into it.

In this case of scam one good thing you can do for yourself is avoid altcoin bounty -as a bounty hunter, as an investor- they are these days scams.
You can take the responsibility of guiding yourself.

It is obviously scam and the icoinsider.net is the scammer who used the name of Bounty Detective to pretend the bounty hunters. I have noticed this thread yesterday and i have checked whether this thread posted by Bounty Detective but they didn't posted. How dare the bounty thread poster to use other reputed Bounty manager name?

Scammers are always given negative trust and they have no place in this space if caught. Anyone with negative trust, I always check the trust issue to ensure I am not dealing with the wrong person. If a BM has a negative trust, I try by all means to avoid his campaign, won't want to wail after tiring work.

1. Scammer is not moderated in this forum
2. Other way is flag. Scammer will not get banned unless he's caught plagiarism (plagiarism will get banned, e.g. @game-protect)

Just ignore and avoid negative trust user, no need to trust him
