There's nothing new I saw a lot of this kind of fake giveaway scams came from different youtube channels also with the altcoins too from the previous youtube one of the best thing is to report this kind of giveaway to youtube itself so they can easily terminate those accounts. Also just wondering still someone believing this kind of scams? With this year with the full of technology and scam why those still trusting those scams, we all know that Elon is one of the richest men but it's suspicious they make a give away more than 5k btc

What surprised me most is when people like to believe in what are too good to be real, according to the reward, I would have known it is a scam and will not involve myself. How can I be given 10x of the bitcoin I sent to someone, it is just a way of scamming people.
The reward itself only is a red flag already.
Its quite funny that there are people who are still falling into this kind of scam. Well, scammers have been using this for a long time and they aren't changing it because there are many investors who are easily tricked by this kind of way of scamming.

You will just deposit your Bitcoin and after a few minutes, it will be multiplied by 10?? What's worse is there are some who though that it was true because of the comments that it really is true Cheesy. This is stupidity at its finest. Well, like I always say learning is really very expensive. Let them be scammed in order for them to learn.

So now they have started using blogging platforms. Indo not think they will be successful by using Medium. Medium is more stringent and most of them get banned automatically in day or two. Thanks for the heads-up.

These days many scammers are active in creating fake giveaway websites of different coins. Due to the bull run, many new people are taking interest in crypto. This is probably why scammers are using various tactics to rob them.

Newbies, you do not need to send any kind of payment to participate in any giveaway if it is the real one. Stay away from Elon Musk giveaways.

Elon will never give five thousand BTC for the giveaway, he needs money for the mars project and funding for SpaceX, only people who are greedy will fall for this, and newbies that are easy to manipulate, the value being giveaway is way unreal, always remember if the giveaway is too good to be true stay away for it, because once you entertain that you will always make things worse because you will also spread that because of the refferals sometimes.

Elon Musk has tweeted about Bitcoin and Dogecoin recently, so it's clear for the public to see his interest in cryptocurrencies, and that's why scammers find it as a good modus operandi to set up their scam using Musk's name, plus Elon is also a billionaire, so naive individuals think it'll be possible for him to give out free money, I believe this are some of the reasons it's always one fake Elon Musk's giveaway every now and then, if people correct the misconception that BTC is a quick money scheme, then they will prolly not be victims to this.

Having said that, the Bull run has continued, with no trace of any 'spanner in the works' just yet, institutional Investors keep running in, and the price doesn't look like it's as of yet going to stop appreciating, this will definitely cause FOMO, people who didn't believe in the network when it was 'cheap', are now struggling to get it, they are most vulnerable to scams of any sort, that's why it's no longer surprising that there are certain victims of all this.

And I will tell you people still fall victim into this type of scam trick, some people aren't aware that there is no free money in the crypto space, mostly newbies searching for what cryptocurrency is falls into this kind of scam when they ignore to ask for guidance from others, I just hope they can come across this and similar warning posts before attempting to invest in the wrong way.

Another scam using BTC
This is not the first and I don't think this will be the last. The last time this happened was on Twitter; Influncial guys account like Barack Obama
and othersTwitterr accounts were hacked for scam BTC giveaway where people will make a deposit and it will be doubled and now it has repeated again using another influencial person especially when it comes to cryptocurrencies.
I know some people will still go ahead to deposit and fall into the scam

We have seen those words almost every day that the scammers continue to spread throughout social media, more people will see, oh no, this is an act of shame where the scamers continue to use the name Elon Musk.
I don't know why I like Elon Musk so much because he's the richest person? but for me this is fooling for those who make it and I'm sure no one will be caught in seduction mode that they make.

Another one I came across an article about a fake giveaway with the name 1inch.exchange and this is one of their efforts also maybe the same group.

Thanks for this output, it really helps those naive and greedy newbies out there who potentially be fooled by this scammer technique.

This isn't new, it seems the same case recently happened on a Twitter hack with high profile users that offered double your Bitcoin in just a matter of hours. and that's Elon Musk's account also involved in this.  But I think people now are too intelligent regarding this scam attempt, they don't even catch prey and it seems the scammer's wallet only has 2 transactions which is a pretty small amount.

I also reported the Bitcoin address used by the scammer.

Nothing lasts forever
The words scam and Elon Musk are the most popular words being used daily in crypto space. Elon Musk is one of the most influential person in the crypto community. His name is being used by scammers to draw the attention of their victims believing to be legitimate Elon Musk. As days passes the scammer communities keeps improving on their strategy on how to scam people of their valuable assets. This below is another Fake Elon Musk giveaway popping on medium.

Wow scammers are up to date with the trend I guess. This giveaway is obviously too good to be true and it is always said in crypto communities that something that is too good to be true in crypto is fake. One easy trick to find out the obvious scam is to look at the balance in the bitcoin address displayed. The address only has 2 transactions totalling to 0.009 BTC.
If so many people had sent and received the giveaway there should have been many transactions on this address. I just hope these 2 transactions were from the scammer himself and nobody actually sent him anything.

What surprised me most is when people like to believe in what are too good to be real, according to the reward, I would have known it is a scam and will not involve myself.

And I'm personally surprised, because there are certainly several hundred documented cases where scammers used the name of Elon Musk for their nefarious attempts of fraud. Therefore, a certain number of people should already know what it is about - but the problem is always those new ones who are just coming into the online world, and every day their age limit is lowering more and more.

I want to say that the internet is full of very young and inexperienced people who not only use it as entertainment, but through it, they are looking for a way to improve their financial situation. What they should first realize is the fact that rich people did not acquire their wealth by squandering money around - and the fact that they control as much as 90% of the world's wealth speaks for itself.

Thousands of scams with this same method have been reported in the past so the crypto community should be aware of this already?!
The crypto community is not static its dynamic because there are new people coming into it every day, information is key.

Did you check that address to find anyone lost their money to this old technique! Huh

As far as I noticed the address has only two transaction which seems the scammer moved it to himself from exchanges.
Those comments are recent ones I think the site is not up to a week, I don't wish anyone to fall for this but with their marketing strategy on every social platform they may likely get someone to roast if the site is not reported as quickly as possible.
