Dear Cosette,

Thank you for your question.
I would say that if its only 12% and if you are on an SSD (flash not mechanical) it is not a cause for concern.
Only if you are suffering from big issues such as freeze ups or hangs ups then we should probably start to check into it more.
You may have done this already but a chkdsk /f might also be in order.
I cannot speak for the software you recommend. But there is one great diagnostic tool I use, and that is "Hard Disk Sentinel"
You can google this find and download the free version software for diagnostics. This will diagnose the total health of hard drive.
If your health is under 90%, I would recommend start backing up your data and consider a replacement of the drive (SSD is good) with a HDD (mechanical as back up/storage).

Long Story Short: Its possible but dependent on the condition and drive type and probably not worth using third party software that claims to fix bad sectors.

Can i ask? it is possible to repair harddisk that got bad sector? on hwid my hdd only about 12% or so and i heard program about hdd regenerator but i dont think that can fix that bad sector.
