some programs just can't handle text if it is scaled.
the layout of elements have to be adjusted, but developers sometimes ignore that, because it's difficult to adjust it right and fit all elements into the window when they become bigger in size.

In Windows 10, go Start > Settings > System > Display > Change the size of text, apps, and other items. If you still cannot get VeriCoin Wallet to display correctly at high resolutions, you should try reporting it on their forum, preferably with screenshots demonstrating exactly what the issue is. You may get better help there.

Unfortunately that didn't work too great. It does allow you to change the size of text, apps and other items from a default of 250% to a max of 350% to make it bigger, but still there's the issue of not being able to see all text in the wallet, and having two scroll bars in the wallet. The default screen resolution set by my system is 3840 x 2160 (recommended).

This is also the exact same issues I've had with other programs like when I tried using Virtualbox ten installing Whonix & Qubes operating software. Both of them were really tiny to see and had the same issues.

What software and operating system, specifically, are you using? Most programs (including Bitcoin Core and altcoin wallets based on it) use the default system font, which can be enlarged for better readability (exact instructions for doing so will depend on your operating system). For programs that insist on using their own unreadable fonts, you can try using a screen magnifier program (most operating systems come with one built-in), though it will still be pixellated.
Windows 10 and I tried a new altcoin wallet, the official VeriCoin wallet. The problem not only it's so small the text but even worse is that you can't see everything written inside that program. Half the text is missing and also the field boxes. I've come across the same problem before with other software due to the very detailed screen resolution set as default on the laptop.

I've got a problem with a wallet and is also an issue with some other programs. On my laptop the standard screen resolution is set very high and the wallet and other programs are very small and squashed so you can't really read anything and a lot of things are cut off from being seen. There's no way to maximise those programs as the maximise button is greyed out. Does anyone know how to make these programs full screen or bigger? If you change the screen resolution to a smaller resolution than the standard set, then it stuffs everything else up.
