We at the AlterEgoCoin [AEC] development team aim to provide a solution for the survival of GPU mining and also to combine a coin with a FIAT exchange.
We belive that the centralisation for Bitcoin mining was a very sad thing and that the upcoming centralisation for Scrypt/GPU mining is just as sad because it will remove the ability for everyone(almost) to participate in mining due to the enourmos amounts of capital that needs to be invested in the mining equipment.
