If someone is looking for the solution, here is mine :

Install AMD SDK 2.7
Install Catalyst 12.8
Run Cgminer 3.1.0

For the .bat file, use what is recommended for 5870
Now both of them are running at 414kh/s

Thanks for the response. I will check that tonight since i'm at work.
But i did note that when i put "--gpu-vddc 1.15" to change the voltage, it immediately crash.

Hey Magnet i did use ur command line, but my computer is crashing hard.
What version of cgminer and catalyst do u use?

I'm using cgminer 2.11.4 and Catalyst 12.10 (which are recommended on https://litecoin.info/Mining_hardware_comparison) and i run around 400kh for two.
My Cgminer line is : cgminer --scrypt -o serveur -u *** -p *** -I 18 -g 1 -w 256 --thread-concurrency 8000
The memlock of both are running at 1200 and core clock at 850.
I triend many config, and never went over 350kh per card, but i can't get those back.
I read that people have around 400-430 with the same card...

So if anyone can help...

Thanks,
aKIA

I have 3 old HD5870 cards giving 433Khah/s each Smiley

I use the following line for CGMINER:

Code:

start /D "C:\cgminer" cgminer.exe --scrypt -o pool:port -u user -p pass --thread-concurrency 8000 -I 18 --lookup-gap 2 --worksize 256 -g 1 -d 0 --shaders 1600 --auto-fan --auto-gpu --gpu-engine 650-935 --gpu-memclock 1180 --temp-target 68 --temp-overheat 75 --gpu-fan 50-80 --gpu-vddc 1.15 -s 1 --expiry 1 --queue 0

I bought an HD 5870 recently to be able to mine vanity addresses, and I'm trying to mine a bit of scrypt coins with multipool. Where do I begin? What drivers and settings are ideal for the 5870? Been doing a bit of searching but couldn't find anything recent for this GPU. With default settings it's showing me something along the lines of 155Mh/s? But that's obviously not right, as I believe I'm mining on a scrypt pool, and I've also read that SHA256 should be running @ ~400MH/s with a 5870.

What do?
