What an interesting thread this is.

SOZ was added to CoinMarketCap today - so it will start to get more people looking at it.

i'm currently writing a book about altcoins that are released this month.  Basically its DYOR but without any statements either for or against the project in question - the idea is to give people a head start on their own DYOR by sharing my own. in any case, i have a limited amount of time to work on it so i base it off of a voting system. Those coins that receive more votes get more of my attention.

if you'd like to vote for SOZ to be included in my book (sounds like it would be a rather good candidate given some of the back-and-forth in this thread) feel free to vote for it on my voting page : http://altcoininvestigation.com?utm_source=bitcointalk&utm_medium=SOZ

thanks ! i look forward to reading all of the entries in this topic in more detail perhaps sometime tomorrow (i just skimmed it today). i've often wondered at what point it is ok to take someone else's white paper and then modify it in order to save time creating your own white paper...

...In this case copyrights belong to developers of the same projects...
...The guy defending the project is right.

The name of the developers of this project is not written on their whitepaper or on the website.
We cannot trust what a supporter say because she has an agenda, we know she opened her Bitcointalk account just to promote Bitcoinus - and usually, those people have a tendency to developed a tunnel vision. All they see is a success and fortune at the end. This project needs to prove who is the team behind this project. So far none Bitcoinus team members have this project associated/listed on their LinkedIn profile.

I am saying that it is not plagiarism because, if i am not mistaken, to copy yourself is not plagiarism. I pretty believe Bitcoinus team, that's why i don't see why i shouldn't trust the project made by their developers.

That is incorrect, self-plagiarism is very real.
If any text is not attributed to another source, then the implication is that the reader should trust/assume that it is unique to that context, which is clearly not the case here.

Anyway, this is just a cookie cutter project: if I had a BTC for every time I had read this, I would be rich...

That is true but only when copyright does not belong to you(author of text). In this case copyrights belong to developers of the same projects. Even PhD students, use self-made articles in PhD thesis. The guy defending the project is right.

As I already told, i am not from their team...
... all the team members could be easily found in telegram chat...
... just personal support, because i have account here...
...

You are answering on behalf of the team. None of the team members have this project listed on their profile. We dont need to look for them on telegram, you love them so much, you can always send them a message. You created your account here to support and promote them. We will continue to post on the thread that you created for them.

Your account was created:

Date Registered:   October 03, 2018, 07:01:27 AM

and your first post was about them:

I know this platform, have some their tokens - I think the the price must be growing after some small investors will sell all their BITS and the cost will stop to fall. As there is always a lot of buyers who sell all the coins in first minutes and do not wait for the price grow at all (as for me, it is a good time to buy their coins sooooo cheap Wink ) - so they provoke the small cost, what is actually a good time for other investors to buy $$$$$$BITS$$$$

on MY website? I am not from their team, I am a supporter of both projects...
When i saw such reaction on my supporting post, I asked SOZ team for a comment of this "plagiarizm case" which is hard to call so (on my opinion) if the material is made by the same team, no?
...

In this case " their website".
How do we know that their whitepaper was made by the same team?  we dont have a crystal ball. And again: THERE IS NOTHING about Bitcoinus on their website and whitepaper.

~ ...
(when i joined bounty and checked their telegram, i saw their client support admin is working on Bitcoinus team, so a connection was obvious for me)
~
....
I just made supporting post as my way to start discussion about new project i support (this platform is for free crypto discussions, right?) and do not represent here any team/members, only myself, so if you need any additional information you should ask their team, i know only what i see and what i get on my questions  Smiley

As you stated - you are a supporter and joined their bounty - supporters and bounty participants want to see the project grow, but sometimes they develop some type of tunnel vision.
Did they offer you tokens/coins to open that ANN for them? How much?  Where is their official thread in this forum? They don't have one? Why not?

Yes this forum is for crypto discussions, and you opened a thread for them to discuss their crypto. We posted our comments in there with our findings, which you come here and post your comment (below) acting as team member.

So yeah, their whitepaper is definitely fail, but before telling about scam don't you think you should check much longer than 1 minute on website?  Grin

It appears that you didn't spend 30 seconds on their website. Where is the team there? links to a team profile? Links to their other project Bitcoinus?

~
...
But as project just started, as we can see - so they must learn the mistakes and do their best...

As I already told, i am not from their team so cannot tell you why they do something in one or another way, i don't read their minds, i just participate in discussion  Smiley

1) I do not see the problem in not having team members on a website - millions of companies do not have them and it doesn't make 100% proof that it is scam because of it.

2) Plagiarism in whitepaper - if to forget that it is crypto company, it works so: the copyright owner could complain on plagiarism of their documents by some company, but definitely no one owner will complain on himself if he uses his own (it doesn't make it more qualified, but as you could get i do not tell that it was their right decision).

I understood your point of view about bad whitepaper and that their team who should add more information about themselves. But they haven't done it, i don't know why as i don't read their munds, sorry, and I, personally, don't see the problem in this (team) point - all the team members could be easily found in telegram chat, in the same way it is done in plenty of platforms: they do not have the information about their team on a website, but you can find it when contact them via given email/socials. And this is how i found the information of who they are and why i joined bounty and made post here (what is not for bounty, just personal support, because i have account here so why i cannot write my personal opinion/suggestion of new company i jumped in? - any opinion can be wrong so as also can be mine, but as i do not see any scam in the team which is trusted for me - i support them and tell about it)

Question to a person creating topic: you checked their whitepaper, but haven't checked the socials to see that they have the some members working in both platforms? Great work, dude  Grin

As Secrets of Zurich told in their telegram "Secrets of Zurich is the side development project of Bitcoinus team with another development orientation on individuals" - what is also obvious if to check LinkedIn and see that one of Bitcoinus developers officially wrote that he is working in Secrets of Zurich project.

So yeah, their whitepaper is definitely fail, but before telling about scam don't you think you should check much longer than 1 minute on website?  Grin

Are you saying that plagiarizing they whitepaper is not enough evidence to be convinced that the team are not legit, what else will be on the social as you said that can serve as an alternative to a plagiarized whitepaper. To me the project is not legit and members of the community need to be warned about that.

I am saying that it is not plagiarism because, if i am not mistaken, to copy yourself is not plagiarism. I pretty believe Bitcoinus team, that's why i don't see why i shouldn't trust the project made by their developers.

COPY and PASTE yourself is ok. BUT you are copying another project - different name - doesnt matter if the team is the same (which you didnt provided evidence).
is Bitcoinus an ICO Factory where they can copy and paste and reproduce hundreds of ICO per day? NO they are not and such a thing are not acceptable.
Each project is individual and should have their own whitepaper and free of plagiarism. Also, there is no disclaimer on whitepaper or website about their association.

About ICO factory - i believe, no - in another way i am as their supporter would be VERY dissapointed.
What about "Each project is individual and should have their own whitepaper and free of plagiarism" i agree, but still think that if company have the same team they can quote themselves, despite for marketing they should find some better way. But as project just started, as we can see - so they must learn the mistakes and do their best to prove that bounty hunters and other supporters do not waste time for nothing.

First - Where is the team on https://www.soz.fund ?  There is NO team listed on your website.
How long do you think it took us checking your whitepaper? We can guarantee you that was more than 1 minute.

Maybe you should spend at least 30 seconds looking for a link to the "team members"   Shocked

If you want transparency, show it/make it, don't expect investors to go to social media asking questions about a team that doesn't exist on the website. ANd there is nothing about Bitcoinus  on SOZ.fund website either. You only have a plagiarized whitepaper there,  and that is more than enough to make investors walk away.  Now you will live with the consequences.

on MY website? I am not from their team, I am a supporter of both projects. Not everybody who supports and making some posts about a company is from the team.

When i saw such reaction on my supporting post, I asked SOZ team for a comment of this "plagiarizm case" which is hard to call so (on my opinion) if the material is made by the same team, no? (when i joined bounty and checked their telegram, i saw their client support admin is working on Bitcoinus team, so a connection was obvious for me) - and i haven't found anything criminal in having additional development project while a lot of crypto companies doing the same. I only think they should have both projects in one system: cryptopayments processing and individual wallet/card, but probably they had some reasons why they devided projects from each other.
Anyway, it is my personal opinion and personal choice to support them, you can disagree with it, I just made supporting post as my way to start discussion about new project i support (this platform is for free crypto discussions, right?) and do not represent here any team/members, only myself, so if you need any additional information you should ask their team, i know only what i see and what i get on my questions  Smiley

I see no reaction from Bountyhive, seems they are don't care about own reputation.

The only reputation they have is for scamming - did you even look at their thread lately?:

The OP (colorlessk) got banned some time ago for his involvement in & promoting scams - I've been warning people about this outfit for ages.

Oh my god. I translated WPP of this project.
Better stop work with them(IMO). Who are not able to create their whitepaper how we can believe them that they will success? Steal content from others means they are thief. So we we can expect from them. What is the guaranty that they will not steal our money? Is it not better to stay away from them and stop promoting them?
