Polymath is a powerful platform and very much in the high finance industry. POLY tokens are already selling for $1 lol and they haven't even been listed on exchanges. https://blog.polymath.network/can-kyc-be-baked-into-security-tokens-on-ethereum-bb43c954cf3f

What do you guys think?
This been talked about for many months and nothing happened with it. I wouldn't worry, they can only manage their own coins.

POW coins are going to make a big comeback

POW with fair launch protocol like back in 2013 is the only trustless way to distribute coins.

This is move is to protects people like us from scammed ICO's. But I thing I worry is that when this regulation takes effect this will have effects on the original objective of crypto where it is free from regulation. Government will soon control the altcoins then soon dollar money will reign again. Very clever move by US government.

So, you think government will take control the Cryptocurrencies? Its interesting. I cant' wait how the government will do that thing. As far as i know, its hard to control cryptocurrencies, because of its anonymity.

I'm curious to see how protection and regulation will go hand in hand. What's even more interesting would be projects like Polymath getting into the mix by bringing high finance, which I'm sure will influence the SEC is a positive way

I mean, we've all known that ICOs were banned in the USA because of SEC's trying to 'protect' us from scams. More regulation is coming whether we like it or not. I think we should just let people do what they want. If people didn't do their own research and invests in a ponzi or scam ICO, then let that be a life lesson. It really takes away good opportunities  and actual good ICOs.

I think the regulation is very necessary.
The U.S. government is only trying to protect more people from being cheated because of more and more ico scams. However, there will be some damage to the development of some real blockchain projects.
What a contradiction.

If theres no such scam ICOs in our community the SEC wouldnt mind our business, but most of these ICOs are created just to raise funds and will eventually run away from the investors, thats why the SEC is just doing their job to protect most of the citizens from a possible scams like these ICOs.We cannot blame them from doing regulations as they are only protecting their people.

Well, we cannot blame SEC for issuing such statement because right now,  there are many scam ICOs. Also, SEC is just doing its job to warn people about the risk in investing in ICOs especially those people who are investing a lot. Many ICOs now are just fake coins developers. After taking your money, they'll all gone like a smoke. This is the right time to regulate many ICOs and SEC must also put some requirements to produce successful and legitimate ICOs.
