Security grate installed over the window - but that will tend to advertise that you have something valuable in the home.

Just make sure your rigs aren't visible from the outside. If someone sees a box fan they will just assume its hot in the house and not think much of it.
Does anyone have any thoughts on how to secure window box fans in a 1 story house? I've got a handful of rigs going in and want to put three window box fans in but am worried about people being able to knock them in and climb in, anyone else have any recommendations?
lol got the same problem, just make sure you have a good security sytem, i have sensors on all the windows so if somone comes across alsrm goes off
