The best security for a newbie is:
1. Do not visit the sex site or download the crack software because it contains the virus that has access to your personal data.
Indeed dude since Porn sites are prone to lots of virus and hacks from those computer experts since free porn is always offered in internet
Quote
2. Do not publicize your wallet MEW account on the community and best use a Metamask wallet.
But you cannot prevent this specially to those bounty hunters in which ethereum wallet has been required for public spreadsheets

But thats right Metamask wallet is more safer than MEW

Another alternative to VirtualBox  is virtualization via sandboxes. Many companies incorporate them into their security products, Comodo is one of them. Sandboxed program can't escape from assigned environment and do the harm to the system. While the program is in the sandbox you can investigate its outbound and inbound connections and block them via firewall if needed.  Sandbox feature is expected in one of the nearest Windows updates.

You need to think before you block all advertising. Content producers rely on advertising revenue to reward them for their creations. If everybody blocked advertising, then it would be the end of much of the free Internet.
Agree but... content providers must overcome this in another way than fighting its users that blocks ads. Content providers pushed too hard with ads and this is result that people started to blocking them. If ads were not so severe there would be no need to take any extra action with blocking them. But users must do this to be able to browse faster, easier, more clearly.

Action = Reaction.

About security, VirtualBox guide useful for advanced users mostly.

Thank you, it has become very annoying, and hackers have been using the ads badly, it has become more than a visual confusion.
It is actually funny to see people go to these lengths when they could just download a Linux iso and boot from that.
Security for Beginners? Stop using windows for starts.\
I tried most of the above and still think I suffer from some viruses seem, It is better to boot from a Flash USB.

The way ads are made is very confusing, it is best for those who want the advertisement to be part of the story, film or video that is being shown and to be sequential, which makes the person interested in the content rather than blocking ads.

The Government of Turkey pays for some YouTubers to visit it on a paid trip & make some Youtube vlogs.

Well written.  Other than blocking adverts increasing the amount of fees to access the internet it also deprive the user of some informations or trends that he/she needed. Rather than blocking ads you can skip or ignore them if you not interested in them at that moment
That's fair enough, the site still be able to advertise the ads and receive money from advertising the ads. I don't mind waiting for the skip ad button to be seen after a seconds to be able to skip the ad but sometimes ads can be a nuisance where you just close/skip an Ad and there goes another Ad you have to skip.

If everybody blocked advertising, then it would be the end of much of the free Internet. You would have to pay to access content. This is already starting to happen, and the demonetising of many YouTube accounts is causing them to move to other platforms. This is not quite the same as ad blocking, but it has the same effect.

My friend thank you very much! I think we're doing good, I am very glad that you liked everything! I will continue to try for beginners and all who are interested!

It is actually funny to see people go to these lengths when they could just download a Linux iso and boot from that.

Security for Beginners? Stop using windows for starts.

You can run virtual machines in any OS, but there are much safer OSes. A live iso won't bite, you just put it into an USB stick and boot from it, simple. This might change (and save) your life...

Of course you can block ads in Linux the same way. I'd suggest you add umatrix to your ublock origin (same author), that takes care of rogue scripts.

Good afternoon, great article, I think that the flow of people in the new year will be interested in your data, so I decided to add your article so that forum users find it easier to find information.
Hyper-V was created as a server virtualization tool for Windows Server 2008. Further, this program was included in Windows 8 and 10, but it is not activated at boot. It must be enabled through the admin panel. This program is more powerful than VirtualBox. Hyper-V features are used on LAN servers.
The advantage of the Hyper-V virtualizer is that this tool is integrated into Windows 10 and allows you to create and clone stable virtual machines. The set of virtual machine functions includes all main categories, including snapshots, snapshots of the state of the virtual machine. There is the possibility of remote control Hyper-V. Virtual machine creation and deployment operations can be automated using PowerShell.
There are also more simplified types of virtual machines, but they have some functions that are cut down. Which of these is best decided by you. I personally use HYPER-V, because for testing wallets and programs unknown to the public it is suitable and quite easy to open! It is already on your WINDOWS system.
Parallels Desktop
If the above-mentioned VirtualBox is generally the most popular virtual machine, then this one is most in demand among macOS users. Parallels Desktop developers communicate with the user community, thanks to which they regularly update their product, eliminating bugs, errors, and adding more and more new, expected features.
VMware Player Lite is a simplified version of VMware Workstation, it is freely available. Compared to VirtualBox, VMware Player Lite is less functional: you cannot take snapshots of the state of the machine, create clones, remote connections, advanced settings of the virtual machine, etc. However, VMware Player Lite is in demand: it is easy to use and allows ordinary users to test various programs in a virtual environment. The interface is friendly, intuitive.
I also attach the HYPER-V installation instructions from the official MICROSOFT source. Everything is very detailed there.

Yep, that's some true info. Attackers use such oirtas to upload lots of malwares and once someone starts utilizing contents there, they subject their jnfo to them.

2. Do not publicize your wallet MEW account on the community and best use a Metamask wallet.
And also do not open links you don't trust. If you want to check it out. Use a differential browser you seldom use.

Ok, you have a good solution for dealing with hidden mining :? I understand that this is their earnings, I do not mind advertising, but I have not yet found a solution that will warn that my computer is being used while I'm on the site. Smiley Smiley Smiley

I think most antivirus/antimalware programs detect these browser mining scripts now(correct me if I'm wrong, I'm think malwarebytes detects this). A solution for mining scripts though? Probably don't go to shady sites. Reputable sites with mining scripts will most likely inform you that their site does contains mining scripts; compared to some less-reputable sites that doesn't inform their users at all.

U can use the No coin - Block miners extension for Chrome, just look for it on google. There is also a version for Firefox on the web. Wink
Is there any mobile version extension for chrome and Firefox app, Sir ?
AdAway[1] for android, it pretty much blocks ads whatever browser you use. Though it requires root access. Though you might want to try out Brave browser[2] for mobile, as it has a built-in ad blocker.

Hello all last time I advised newcomers to use an interesting solution for installing programs and wallets for free distributions from unknown companies "VirtualBox" https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/a-useful-program-for-newbie-to-the-forum-4629470 - here you can see, so I provided the installation instructions.
Today I wanted to talk about a few more useful things. We all know that companies for free distribution are of several types, some of them are honest second-rate scammers who want to make money from your honestly earned money, a computer and so on. When I do tasks for free distributions, I always adhere to certain facts, be cautious and considerate. By clicking on the links outside the forum, I stop trusting any information, sites. Several times I came across such sites that without my knowledge include a hidden script on the page and my computer starts working on scammers or rather mine for scammers without my knowledge. There are a lot of such sites. I do not mind if a good site with useful information will use my powers while I read the context but I would like to be warned about it. I decided to proceed as follows and I advise you to stick to this advice, I installed an add-on to my browser AdGuard, which later began to warn me that the link to the site where I turn to want to use my powers, then I immediately leave this site.
https://adguard.com/ - This solution saves you from hidden scripts and obsessive advertising. This is almost the ideal solution for surfing the Internet, so it protects against phishing sites

As there are good analogs, maybe someone they will pridutsya more to their liking. Such as Adblock https://adblockplus.org ; Ublock https://www.ublock.org ;
Yes, I forgot to say one important thing, such extensions do not affect the speed of the Internet, do not prevent you from viewing the page, the basic version is free.
Always download only from the original sites and only the original software, distrust anyone who offers you to download from other sites.
