Sure. Such tokens have a great potential. Besides now companies like Polymath are creating special platforms for trading such tokens in accordance with all the laws and regulation including SEC. So just wait, revolution is already here))
Yes, i is true that this kind of token has great potential. This token might be successful in the near future because of its quality. It will give you a lot of income but sure that you are working hard for every project. You cannot gain money easily that's why you need to work hard. but it depends on you on what token to choose because you're the one will decide for yourself.

What do you think about security (dividend) token? I think these token have a great potential!

What successful security token do you know at the moment?

Security and safety are always prized when using digital money! Currently, account security still heavily depends on the user! Hope may be improved in the future

A security token does have a good future in crypto. Every sector does need some type of coin that represents it and security is one of those sectors that needs to be tapped into. A good security coin would go a very long way and it will bring in a lot of profit as long as the team that works on the project is dedicated to it.

A security token VRTM just paying dividends for their holders. I am one of them. It is a mining company that pay every 3 months to token holders.
so yes, security token still have a great potential. What you must do is just buy tokens from a good company and team. so your dividend is paid later.

But the SEC thinks differently about security token))

And the point is to set up companies in countries which regulated cryptocurrencies and ICOs. There you don't be affraid if you have proper licences and play in unison with the law.

I want to play in unison with the crypto industry, not dance to the tune of the law))

Yeah, but is this industry, I mean the whole community, ready to fight against scams? How to secure people from frauds?

A security is basically something that in some way shape or form promises you returns on your money. As far as I know there are currently no tokens or coins like that on the market, because the regulation hasn't set yet. Next year I think we can expect to see multiple security tokens, even being hosted and traded on a security token platform like Polymath.

What would be the difference between a security token and by example an ETF like GLD (SPDR Gold Shares ETF). The only advantage i see in security tokens is that you can move them quicker trough blockchain from one wallet/exchange to another. A regulated asset like an ETF which you hold in an account by a broker is more complex to move around. Other then that i see no real value to already excisting asset backed products.
