You can also try using the forks of Electrum released for the other coins like:

BCH - ElectronCash: https://electroncash.org/#download
BTG - ElectrumG: https://github.com/BTCGPU/electrum/releases/tag/3.2-beta (NOTE: BETA software! refer: https://bitcoingold.org/electrumg-spv-bitcoin-gold/)

The first option is better because you pay no fees while the second option may be better If you want to claim coins that are not supported by Coinomi and have a decent value.

there is a big difference between these two though which is worth mentioning.
using Coinomi, you still control your private keys and they stay on your device so the risks are lower. but using that digging service you give up control over your private keys and although the service seems fairly legit i still would use it as the last resort.

I believe that Electrum seed is not BIP39 so you can only restore your wallet in Electrum itself.

If you want to claim your forked coins here are two options:

1. Restore your wallet in Electrum -> Export the private keys -> Scan them using Coinomi and that's it
2. Use https://dig.walleting.services/

The first option is better because you pay no fees while the second option may be better If you want to claim coins that are not supported by Coinomi and have a decent value.

Hey guys,

last year I created a BTC electrum wallet. Now I moved my BTC away and wanted to claim BTC Gold and others with Coinomi.

Unfortunately it doesn't accept my seed, saying it's invalid.

The seed is correct as I scanned the QR code, and typed it several times.

What I have done so far:
1. Typing the seed manually.
2. Activating bip39 and using the same seed (typing and copy/pasting it).

The sentence has 12 words, no capital letters, no extra words.

Exodus didn't accept the seed neither. What's wrong with it?
