Other people won't care about your hardware the way you do. Mining on places with cheap electricity is good but there are many hassles on shipping, dealing and transacting with external parties.
You could also install solar panels which comes cheap these days and get the electricity you need for free during the day while relying on the grid at night. Another approach you could take is look for cheap electricity near to where you live. I've seen cases where people deal with electricity generators to buy excess electricity for cheap. The generators like hydro, wind can't sell more than what is on their contract so they sell the excess electricity for cheap.

Thanks for the input! I’m actually based in Europe and currently managing 10 machines. The main challenge for me is the maintenance and setup—it takes up a lot of my time, and to be honest, the noise has been a bit much. Plus, my work requires frequent travel, so it’s hard to stay on top of everything.

I’ve been debating whether to sell the machines and invest in coins to hold, or continue mining but move everything to a third-party hosting service, which would mean shipping my equipment.

Your suggestion about solar panels is interesting, though I’m not sure how feasible that would be given my current setup and lifestyle. The idea of buying excess electricity directly from generators is also appealing, but it might be difficult to organize with the amount of travel I do.

Hey everyone,

I’m fairly new to the crypto mining world, but I’ve been diving deep into it for the past few months and have already built up a decent understanding. Recently, I’ve been mining some altcoins right now.

That said, I’ve run into a big challenge—electricity costs. I live in a country where electricity rates are really high, and it’s starting to cut into my profits. I’m seriously considering looking into mining hosting services in countries with lower electricity rates. I want to ship my rigs to the hosting service and want them to take care of everything. I need to move to a new place soon and I won't be able to maintain all my machine since my place is small.

Does anyone here have experience hosting their rigs elsewhere? I’ve been reading about mining-friendly countries with cheap electricity like Kazakhstan and parts of Europe. How safe and reliable are these hosting services?

Would love to hear any tips or recommendations for trusted hosting providers with low electricity rates, or any alternative solutions to reduce the costs.
