The Bangalore Bitcoin meetup group has collected 270+ BTC and are serial-purchasing mining hardware.
Coinmonk.com even paid out their first dividends this week.

I had the honor of clicking the 'Pay Dividends' button. Smiley

I was there as a witness, quite a milestone moment.  Well done CoinMonk.com!

Here's a short post describing the initiative:  CoinMonk - Invest in Bitcoin Mining

most interesting opportunity right now is BitFury asic, one chip gives 5 ghs blade gives 120 ghs and consume 84watt, no heating, naturally from 84 w should not be much heating. cost of one unit on pre orders 2K+ usd. That is great deal, available in August. Sold as complete functional unit, PnP.  That shows, what kind of parameters future ASICs may have, If this future is here in August, then buying ASICminer blades of ordering Avalon chips does not make much sense.

What  happened  to the last  project  skang  was  trying to  do ? i dont see any updates on his project. would  yours  also die out like that  ?

Hi,
I'd provide updates and stuff as needed as you can see my previous projects (Bitcoin exchange) although did not start off at least there was no communication breakage in between during the testing/dev phase of the exchange.

Please feel free to suggest hardware we can use / other ideas to make this much more better Smiley

Hey Guys,
Was thinking about "Group Mining" in which we come together contribute say xx BTC, and we buy hardware to mine with say multiple ASICMiner Blades and we share the profits depending on how much BTC you contributed at the start minus electric costs.

Anyone interested?

As usual, Open to suggestions and ideas to shape this idea up better Smiley
