Yes. And i think this x2 fork much more serious then Bitcoin Gold fork. Due to this, the price of bitcoin is high now.
Bitcoin will grow after the hard fork. It will just take some time for the price to get set at a level where people will call it expensive.

Yes, this has the potential to be serious and crack bitcoin in two. I expected prices would plummet immediately after the bitcoin gold snapshot was taken, but I was wrong - this hasn't happened yet. Or it happened a bit, but then recovered. Perhaps we'll have a huge drop immediately after the segx2 fork, as both coins would be serious contenders this time and so it would be worth having both. Who knows, though? The people who are good at predicting the markets no doubt keep their knowledge to themselves 
segwit2x would be much more complex because they are proposing it to be the real and only blockchain for bitcoin. But people are still not clear which chain to follow.

Ha, it's entertaining to see people just seeing this as another opportunity for bitcoin to "run". Unlike bitcoin gold, which was a noncontentious fork, this next fork has the POTENTIAL to really hurt bitcoins price before or after the fork. This one will cause more fear surrounding the community as to the fate of bitcoin, so people will not be as eager to jump in and hold. I would be cautious to try to apply the previous forks behavior to subsequent ones. The markets learn and adapt quickly.

I am beginning to get bored of all these bitcoin forks, at the end of the day the legacy bitcoin (BTC) will probably remain as the number one due to mass adoption and support.

I must say, I'm totally confused by the Segwit2X fork. I thought Segwit2X was the consensus, therefore would be the main Bitcoin chain. But I see B2X futures are already trading at $1000+ on coinmarketcap.com, as if SegWit2x will just be another altcoin. https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/segwit2x/
I think it is made simply for the sake of profit. This is beneficial to the bitcoin miners, this is beneficial for stock exchanges and bitcoin holders. This is the money of their air
