Well the price starts fallllling Smiley
Nothing new. If you look at some charts in a large scale you'll know why we're falling. After a new high there's always a period of fear and taking profits, but it never takes the price lower than the starting point. So, that bottom of bottoms would be somewhere around $1000. If you're prepared for prices to touch that number and go up again, you have nothing to fear.  Smiley

Guys what are you expectation for August?

What are right now the stakes that the things won't go well?

We do not know if what will happen to bitcoin on August. But I am sure that man have panicked and are now selling their bitcoins as early as today and you can see by looking at the charts on the exchanges. Other altcoin holders also sells their coins in exchange for bitcoins then convert to dollars. Many have felt that before the segwit implementation there will be a huge drop in the value of bitcoin due to hardfork activation. I am not sure as to what is the right choice to do and so I stick to my old rule and that is to slice my wallet. One half will be converted to dollar and the other half will remain in my wallet. This will be my last resort so I can lessen the risk.

I'm pretty confident we won't see 2 separate chains of bitcoin. So I've decided to just hold my holdings in a compatible wallet if things were to get ugly.

I also agree with you. This wont be the case. Then what would it be we would have 2 coins with 2 blockchain. NO. If everything went well with litecoin I dont see what would be worse to do with bitcoin. Im hopping to see same effect as in litecoin. Maybe im to optimistic but it was sad same for litecoin and he ended up much better.

Sure I know what will but the question was actually for the price development. Not for the "what will happen stuff". Because so far I am not sure If I should hold any BTC at that point.
I am not holding a single BTC right now bcs of the price development, but I can't imagine too that there will be two different chains in the end.

So we will see
I am expecting a huge pump in price after August.Even if there are two chains, each coin commulative price will be equal to what is the current price of btc
