You can set up your own website and start accepting Bitcoins or altcoins against your goods. And even at your outlet you can start accepting.

Unless you have very competitive prices, I think you're better off selling your stuff in the Goods section of bitcointalk, than creating an online store no one knows of.

Selling items that you have for Bitcoin can be done in this forum, I highly recommend it.

I once conducted a auction and the items I auctioned were the work I made during the 10th anniversary of Bitcointalk,
many were interested and many were bidding.

Hi I'm wondering what's the best marketplace to sell goods for bitcoin? Would appreciate if anyone can share their experience like security/anonymous/size of buyer community etc.

You have OpenBazaar. Completely P2P, decentralized and anonymous. But there are not that many sellers/buyers.

Additional market suggestion :
1. Bitcointalk Marketplace
2. Alt-Coin Marketplace

I think this forum is the best place to sell something with bitcoin, OpenBazaar is a good option, but the forum have a lot more people holding bitcoins than any other site online.

In the market place you will find Goods the good thread: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?board=51.0

There is the right thread to sell something.

Hard Facts
Here is a hard fact for you. According to this (old) article, 66% of sub-Saharan Africans don't have a bank account.
https://www.itnewsafrica.com/2018/12/66-percent-of-sub-saharan-africans-are-listed-as-unbanked-world-bank/
The numbers aren't important. If it's 60, 50, 40% it doesn't really matter.

Some people are forced to find alternatives to traditional banking systems. Others simply don't like it for various reasons that I am not going to go into right now. While it is true that you would be limiting your sales only to users who accept crypto payments, you are wrong in calling those who prefer Bitcoin 'idiots'. Take a look at the name of the forum in the top left corner and decide if this is the right place for you or not.

in comparison all selling goods directly to bitcoin is super easy since it has no middle men, no additional fees and more importantly no risks of the middle man (aka banks and exchanges) scamming you.

You are a special kind of STUPID.    You ignore the gorilla in the room, by trying to sell goods in BitCoin you ELIMINATE 99.999 % of your potential customers.  That means lower price and very long time to sell.  Yes, you will be lucky when you finally get someone to finally make you an offer far below market value in BitCoin   Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy

You are so emotionally attached to the idea of BitCoin, that you totally ignore reality and facts.   A perfect example of a Cult Like " believer "....

Yeah, it is called EBAY, or CRAIGSLIST  Grin Grin Grin Grin    After you sell your goods there, you can take your US Dollars and buy as much BitCoin as you want.

Only a TOTAL FOOL , complete idiot, or moron would go to a very small market, where it takes longer to sell goods, sell good for less, just because you insist on direct payment in BitCoin.

i can't tell if you are just trolling or too naive.
buying bitcoin is harder than selling goods for bitcoin when you want to easily acquire bitcoin. it takes a lot of jumps through a lot of hoops before you can sign up on a risky exchange that can either scam you or close your account for whatever reason they want.
- then you have to pay a lot of fees to transfer your fiat to exchange bank account and risk your bank closing your account,
- then pay another fee to exchange that fiat to bitcoin
- then pay another fee to withdraw that bitcoin from your account to a wallet

in comparison all selling goods directly to bitcoin is super easy since it has no middle men, no additional fees and more importantly no risks of the middle man (aka banks and exchanges) scamming you.

You didn't state if it is a digital good or physical good. You can check this section of the forum to buy or create a sell topic and wait for someone to show interest.
You can also check bitify.com for digital goods, you can pay in BTC or LTC. They also offer escrow service.
Apart from here and bitify, I don't think there's any other website that offers buying goods with BTC.

Or someone who's not in a hurry, or someone who has stuff to sell that Bitcoin users are likely to buy such as electronics, especially mining hardware.

Then they have some bitcoins without having to go through an intermediary such as an exchange.

That's a sensible comment on Mr. Facts's part.

Unless it's a super focused sale like mining gear or physical bitcoins you're reducing your market by a factor of several thousand or more. You may also end up accepting much less just to make the sale after weeping with joy when someone finally expresses some interest.

I would totally sell stuff for BTC in the way I previously had access to - fixed prices and guaranteed sales from an established company. Beyond that I might attempt it for fun but would have no expectations of success.

Try the section for goods here in bitcointalk. There are also lots  of other forums that allows us to buy and sell goods through bitcoin payments. For me using those boards/sections is a good idea. You could talk more about the the price, you can have a better deal. It might just take more time for you to sell your goods compared on other platforms. I think Amazon is a good example.

it depends on your location. I konw Amazon and Ebay offers worldwide marketplace but i don;t know if they sell bitcoin on their platform. for locals like My african brothers, we use Nairaex or localbitcoin to exchange cryptocurrencies. ALSO there are platforms where you can exchange goods and services and receive payment with bitcoin. Example
Gsm2me: for mobile services
Minku: sells clothes and fashion/beauty materials. accept bitcoins.

My personal suggestion would be to either use the 'goods' board here on the forum, or simply sell on Ebay, get fiat, and then buy bitcoin. You'll lose a bit on the fees, but if you have plans to sell goods on a regular basis, this might be your best option as you will get more exposure.

This is sound advice. There's local marketplaces though that you can agree on different payment methods (cash, bank transfer or whatever), you can just put Bitcoin as a payment possibility and use the platform's own popularity, I remember in Estonia they had a site you could use like this, can't remember the name though. Where are you located?

What country are you in? You might have something local.

In the UK there's a chain of second hand stores that dealt in phones and games that used to pay out in BTC. I got rid of a lot of crap in 2015 and that junk earned me a lot of money.

Craigslist has a pay in crypto option I believe but I presume buyers will prefer to deal with you in person. As above there's Open Bazaar but hardly anyone uses it.

What stuff are you looking to sell?
