So I guess I'll just buy in small increments.. sounds like a plan to me glad to have the chance to stack some coins I'll tell ya.  It's been rough having sold out at the wrong time and waiting for such an opportunity to show itself.

Just wondering if the 'Sell in May & go away' saying would be applicable to bitcoin this year. Or should I say the latter part of that saying anyway. I don't think the sell part is advisable, but it looks like nothing is going to happen price wise in the next few months.

Wow I was going to ask this last question earlier today but I got tired and figured I'd wait untill later..  Good questions and I guess thanks for saving me the time haha.   Wink

I like the way you looked at it and answered the question.  I didn't think about it that way and I think that is something very much worth considering as an outcome.

Right now is the best time to sell and you can buy in later when the price plummets.

Gonna plummet, aye?  Proof, or just more ass talk?

My policy is hold, no matter what. Wouldn't dream of selling & hoping to buy back lower; it's likely that the fall is mostly over & anyone selling now might not get back in at a lower price.

You can sell and go away anytime it seems like a good time to you, but I don't think BTC is going anywhere.

In time, I think purchases even at $1000/btc will pay off handsomely. Worst decision I made was selling 50 btc in Sept 2013. I won't be repeating that mistake again.

The_sunship, as I said before, I agree absolutely & even though my BTC averaged around $740, I don't regret it & will be holding long term.

totally... wher we are now is the land of "NO CONFIDENCE" & manipulationby the short term chinese day traders

med to long term ... there is so much positive that as with he "SQUEEEZE" indicatior that i use in forex and commonodity markets we are just building up power

med-long term crypto is so bullish that if you are feelingn nervious @ a 700 buy in relax ...realistically I understand taht you are used to crypto exploding over a the short term ... the reality is that crypto is maturing and that you need to hold ..normally a instrument that yeilds 10% over 1 year is awesome so you need to look at crypto in this context Cheesy

HODL

this is third bubble/crash taht i have gone through and every time i have been sitting where we are now and thinking in hindsite that i should have bought more Cheesy

Guratenteed this rocketship will fly in the next 2-3 months Cheesy

Exactly.
Bitcoin is not comparable to the stock market. The amount of longterm holders is much higher. Many people buy bitcoin to exit the fiat system.

ya.ya.yo!

I know a handful of people who have recently taken the leap into Bitcoin, and some that are looking as well.  The overall opinion of them is that this is a long-term (5+ Year) move.

It would have only worked in 2011, all other years it would have been a bad move.

Agreed.  Although just to be a little bit of a contrarian, Jan-June 2012 was a pretty protracted bear market...6 months of mostly down or sideways.  It only really started to pick up again in July of that year.
