Don't think you will be able to sell it to a Dutchman. I am dutch and wouldn't want a reminder of how the Portuguese screwed us  Tongue

Any ballpark prices? If I may ask, where did you get it?  Shocked

I was working in adidas in 2007, in the WTC offices at Zaragoza, Spain, in the communication/marketing department, when  5 balls were drawn. I got the one from Iran, but changed it for this one.

I can prove i worked in adidas because i can share pictures of sneakers with the string 'SAMPLE, NOT FOR RESALE" in the inside (Only available if you are working in adidas). I can add in the picture a post-it or a paper with anything you want written on it.

I will also share pictures of the ball with a prof that i'm owning it Smiley

here you have more info on the ball.

This object is THE ORIGINAL FOOTBALL MATCH BALL from the Battle of Nuremberg (which is the nickname of a football match played in Round 2 of the 2006 FIFA World Cup between Portugal and the Netherlands)

It has the date and the timestamp of the football match and the STAMP of the FIFA. Some marks of football boots can also be seen. Probably blue adidas predator (Cristiano Ronaldo's?).

This match is famous because, the referee, Valentin Ivanov issued a FIFA World Cup record four red cards and an unprecedented 16 yellow cards, setting a new record for cards shown at any FIFA-administered international tournament.

More info: http://www.abc.net.au/sport/columns/200607/s1681791.htm

Also because of the players that were involved.
Match details can be seen here:

Well.. I've got the ball!  Cheesy

I WILL UPDATE WITH PICTURES IF THERE IS INTEREST IN THIS OBJECT.

P.S. If i finally sell this, i'm not selling it cheap Smiley
