I hope that there is a rule for this type of scam, but I assume that it is intended to have a full website and not use these sites as a guarantee between the seller and the buyer, "delivery services."
But if it is a rule, it is strange that the mods do not know it.

I didn't notice that part of the rules before, but I'd love to see that rule enforced. Bitcointalk shouldn't just be used to advertised online shops that are most likely scams, at least the trades should happen on the forum.
That would definitely get my vote.  Cheesy

Here's an example.  This totally scam thread won't go away.  https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;threads;u=1227343;sa=showPosts   The low-life scammer who "owns" it comes back every few days and bumps it.

Does that mean using Selly and the myriads of other similar sites is prohibited in Digital Goods?
Yes, I believe those websites belong to the prohibited category.

Is it "technically" not permitted?
To an extent.
- Not sure but I've seen a lot of these types of threads remain for at least a week or longer [I don't normally track such threads for a long time] and some might never get deleted if nobody reports them.
There  have some that have been going strong for months and a couple for up to a couple years on Digital Goods until the TS got banned.   Weird part is after the starter of that thread got banned the thread remained up.  I wonder how the mods would handle that "rule" if reported.

Been reading the Bitcoin Talk rules recently and saw the one copied below in the GUIDELINES FOR THREADS section of the rules list.  Does that mean using Selly and the myriads of other similar sites is prohibited in Digital Goods?  That is the goto modus operandi these days it seems for scammers (as well as a few non-scammers).  Is it "technically" not permitted?

I've seen a few scammers selling stuff that's listed on Shoppy too. In my opinion I think that sales should be conducted entirely on the forum, not on some other site front where communication is not visible to the public.

Digital goods (child board of Goods) - Trades of digital goods on-forum for Bitcoin (except for invites and accounts). If you are selling goods on another site (e.g. have an online store), it doesn't belong here.
