I failed at anodizing the silver. I made more than 10 and less than 13. They really just came out black besides one that came out a purplish and I don't remember who I sent it too.

You should probably make a new thread, this one is pretty cluttered. You could lock this one and include the old coins in the new one as well, that'd make sense.

Well all of the current coins have a shiny backside, but the next batch, should be even more shiny. If the backside wasn't shiny enough the engraving would not take I ran into that issue.

I am thinking with the new batch I might auction off the custom COA with the coins welded not glued in it.

I've read the PM's you've sent killyou72 and I'm still considering your offer. I'd love to see the new product and how it looks, as stated earlier that shiny backside will definitely be something cool, to me at least.

As for what moonie said: I'd love to see that CoA with the two glued on coins. Perhaps that could also be a new line of product that you make with any leftover stock killyou. Never too late to reinvent your product to sell out available stock. Please do keep us posted on the progress of the new ones though . I'll respond to your PM with a final decision tonight as well.

Received everything! A couple of the coins were in improper fitting air-tites, but no worries, gave me a chance to take them out of their shells and look at them up close. Very nice indeed. The drawing and personalized COA were fun and brought a smile to my face. I am thinking about possibly gluing 2 of the coins down into that COA, those groves fit the coins perfectly (idk if you already know that or not).

You could try and pair these ones with the clear back ones, perhaps giving you a greater success in selling out.

Yeah I do sell these at a $ rate, I have been including a lot of extras with peoples when they ordered these are about $8 a piece before shipping which was my original realistic goal when I started with the plastic ones, which if you can recall or not where made with a plastic printer but I wanted them to be more cost effective than purchasing a satori coin without shipping.

I havn't come close to selling out and I would like to be producing these by the hundreds if there was enough interest.

There are maybe 30-40 coins left with engravings on them but all of the others after that will have a clear back. I think the cleaner design will appeal to more.

DIY is safer than a funded coin.

Also would recommend refining the quality, test multiple strikes before actually sending off a finished product.

update: holograms will be ordered within the week. Each T3 coin will receive 3 holograms per coin. While the 1/10OZ OZ silver sun will be sold in groups of 25 with 50 holos and 25 airtights. But the coins will come in roll. These will feature a sun on the back with the same front (including the year 2017) they will be packaged in a roll so the airtights/holos are for if you decide to break the roll and fund it yourself. Single coins besides these 50ish will not be sold ever, once 50 are sold I will take the remaining coins off the market.

Nothing, besides the number 1. There is also a number 1 coin that says "prototype 1" but that one is a black color due to the failed anadoizing.  There is a coin with "sky" on it

The engraving was done with an electric hand engraver. But the numbers and drawings on the back are pointless if you decide to load it because the hologram will cover the whole back
