I realized that people didn't understand what i deal I had up here.. here's where you can see what these retail for: http://big-sky-gems.com/facetedstones.aspx

Now that the market is stabilized around $15/Btc  I'll reprice this @ 35 bitcoins.   I'm also putting it on the block elsewhere so if you wanted something tangible at wholesale prices you should buy it now.. in about 3 days (next tuesday the 28th) I'll have it sold, one way or the other..

Price lowered to 25 bitcoins.. I can also do other custom cut gemstones..

Edit: I'm going to put this on hold till the mtGox situation straightens out and we have some stability in the market..  i'll update when I feel that's happening.. pm l me if you have any questions/thoughts.

Do you cut emeralds, perchance?

I might be convinced to part with some BTC for a good looking emerald Wink

I cut everything except diamonds.. I have a nice color but not so good clarity emerald (.70 cts emerald cut) i can let go, and I have some more emerald rough coming in tomorrow.  Let me know if your interested..

I am a custom gem cutter on the side (I do software for the day job) and thought someone might want a real commodity for Bitcoins and i get some to work with.  Up for sale is a custom cut 1.2 carat montana sapphire in an Asscher cut (max sparkle!) .  Rather than those dark black excuses Macys sells, you get something of real tangible value.

You can see the stone and my other work here: http://s562.photobucket.com/albums/ss69/johnleb/

Here's a picture of what you get for 30 bitcoins  (sorry about the dust and gnarly tweezers, the finish is perfect)
