I only count 14 gpus...

5970 = 2 GPU * Qty 2 = 4 GPU
6990 = 2 GPU * Qty 1 = 2 GPU
Umm yeah, doesn't really work like that... you can't count them as an extra gpu lol.

I don't see what's so hard here.  These are dual-gpu cards.  Eitherway, use the parts list to determine your interest in the cluster.

Your math is hard. I'll tell you what, I got 500 horses for sale. Well, its a car with 500 horse power, but thats like 500 horses. I dont see whats so hard here. ALSO, I what to charge 150% used for the horses.

Btw. 2k, Cash. South Bay area. Let me know if your desperate....I mean...interested in my offer.

I offer 3K. 1K over the other guy's bid Wink Also in the Bay Area.

I'm really interested in the SSDs.

In your opinion which is the better pair for a raid 0 array?

TRIM doesn't work in Raid 0 and your SSD degradation would be significant without it especially on drives without background garbage collection.

Transitioning the rigs over to btcguild for the moment.  Just a heads up in case anyone was looking at btcmine stats.

Ok inevitable "why are you selling this gear?" question  Grin

Great question! :]  I originally wanted to straight up purchase BTC when I bought the mining gear, however since I was new to the whole BTC concept I felt it was really risky to directly invest.  Now that my mining gear is paid off (thank you 30$ market price Tongue ) i've hedged alot of initial risk and am basically freerolling on BTC.  So it's my preference to actually own BTC instead of maintaining mining gear.

The parts up for sale are listed and potential buyers can send questions pertaining to offers and any desired equipment removals. Just let me know if you don't want a certain item or items but would still want the whole in general.

I'm selling all parts in one order (or as close to one as possible ) because I did not want the hassle of parting out everything. :]

Just PM and we will take it from there :]

I will accept offers for some equipment pruning.  So sure, someone could pm with an offer like that and it would be considered definitely. also, RAM was 5 sticks of gskill and 1 stick of Kingston - all 2gb. didn't feel ram was a huge part of the sale but rest assured each rig has 2gb of ram.

Drop the Cases and SSDs and you might get some offers. Cases cost a lot to ship and they many people dont even use them in their builds. SSD is overkill for a mining rig and you could probably sell those pretty easily separately. Unless im missing it in the post your missing RAM!

That's awesome that you guys nitpicked over how many GPUs, but missed the claim of 5400 GH/s, which is about half of all Bitcoin's network hash rate.

I'm going to assume he meant 5400 MH/s, and just say I'll look it over and see if the economics make sense Smiley

Lol, typo fixed.  Thank you.

The One and Only
Not a bad deal for those prices. (of course shipping will make this worse) Total reference cost looks to be: $5740, Close to $1-1mh/s Oh, and you're running Crossfire o.O Thats going to take a small percentage of your hashrate.

I would offer but I can't afford to buy the whole farm...that's a lot.

Did I advertise it as 17 cards? No.  I said 17 GPUs.  There are 14 Cards, 3 of which are dual-gpu cards.  Title is not misleading.  Each GPU serves as an individual miner.

Thank you for your interest.

Its VERY misleading, you are not actually getting any extra gpu units instead you are trying to fob factory standard dual gpu cards as two separate entities.

Hi All,

I am putting my 17 GPU Mining Farm on the market, however I want to only entertain offers from interested parties wanting to purchase the entire farm.  If you'd like to subtract an item or a sub-set of items, just let me know and we can go from there and i'll take that into account with the other offers.  All items, unless listed otherwise, are were ordered new in the early weeks of May 2011.  All Rigs come with all necessary Operating Systems and Mining Software necessary to begin mining.  I currently have all machines running Windows 7 with GUIMiner and each card overclocked to the speed thats most stable for them as well as with optimizations to their tags and some files modified for better mining in the phatk kernel.

Hashrate on BTCMINE currently fluctuates between 5400-5600 Mhash/sec (5.4 to 5.6 Ghash/sec).  However you may know more about overclocking than I do and might be able to get more out of the cards.
