If by direct deposit you mean a bank transfer and not cash deposit, you should be VERY careful and deal with only long time trusted members. Look what happened here: https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/m.10790933

Who pays the WU fees? Are you willing to use a trusted forum escrow? Might be interested if this is still available in a few days. Sent a decent amount of $ through WU the past week and want to stay under the radar to avoid being questioned by WU.

Hey xetsr, thanks for the heads up. I meant cash deposit, not bank transfer. I've heard lots of bad stories about bank transfers so I am trying to stay away from it, unless I am dealing with a friend. Never used WU or escrow but I am willing to try with a trusted member. What will the WU fees be for a $1200ish transfer to Canada? What about escrow?
Hope to hear from you soon, xetsr.

Cheers.

Last I checked fees to send $1k+ to Canada would be around $80. You're probably better off finding someone willing to do a cash deposit. You also want to make sure it's a CASH deposit and not a check. Others have been scammed in the past thinking they received a cash deposit when it turned out to be a check that was later bounced.
What about Escrow?

I'd buy $600 worth no problem but fees for WU are too high for me to consider sadly.

I'm in US.
