Sorry everyone, I will open a real selling thread with rates and there will never be a 1:1 trade for paypal, this was to ask how to sign a message to prove ownership of funds. I forgot to close it since I wasnt around.

I can buy $200 worth of BTC using Payoneer. We can deal using an Escrow, maybe @darkstar_ if he accepts and I will pay his fee, or you can send first to me. I will not send first as Payoneer can NOT be reverse.

I have 1.12611534 BTC or $5,842.91 I want to sell for Neteller/Paypal/Payoneer or USA bank transfer
Generally, signing a message will not benefit you because you are exchanging to reversible payment methods.
It is better for you to use some sites that require an ID "localbitcoin."
Anyway good luck. I'm glad you learned something new.
Thanks alot for the info, I want to sign a message as proof of coins, I want to open an exchange thread and a loan thread and I will need to show proof I have the funds.

I want to sign a message using my blockchain account, wallets there keep changing so whats shown now doesn't matter. all I need is info on how to sign a message.

You can do this in three ways:

  3.  sign a message using Blockchain.info address way:

   - Go to ----> https://iancoleman.io/bip39/
   - copy your 12-word wallet seed and paste it into BIP39 Mnemonic.
   - check address "1AqLKEHKE9oprpGXp1iXSSqbM3HDoNcuNm" private key.
   - Import that private key to your blockchain.info wallet. [Settings > Wallets & Addresses > + Import Bitcoin Address]
   - Go to Settings > Addresses > address that you imported > More Options > Sign Message.
Thanks alot, let me try your method and see what happens.
Thanks I was able to import and I am trying to sign a message below and hope it works

You won't be able to sign a message with the keys generated by your blockchain.com wallet.  They do have a feature where you can sign a message using an imported private key (such as a paper wallet.)

Thanks a lot, I read that and thought maybe it was an older post and now you can do that. I will have to get myself another wallet.

I want to sign a message using my blockchain account, wallets there keep changing so whats shown now doesn't matter. all I need is info on how to sign a message.

You can do this in three ways:

 1. Easy way:
   - Download electrum wallet using -----> https://electrum.org/#download
   - Create a new wallet using electrum. Read more https://www.pcgamer.com/how-to-set-up-an-electrum-bitcoin-wallet/
   - Send Bitcoin from that address to electrum address
   - Sign a message using electrum wallet How to sign a message with a Electrum wallet?

 2. hard way:
   - Go to ------> https://www.bitaddress.org   [run it offline]
   - Create a new address [public key and private key].
   - Import that private key to your blockchain.info wallet. [Settings > Wallets & Addresses > + Import Bitcoin Address]
   - send Bitcoin to the new address "which you created on https://www.bitaddress.org"
   - Go to Settings > Addresses > address that you imported > More Options > Sign Message.
Using this way you can sign a message with a new address, not the old one.

 3.  sign a message using Blockchain.info address way:

   - Go to ----> https://iancoleman.io/bip39/

Simply because is better to pay 3% fees than risk being with accusations of money laundering or illegal trafficking.
PayPal and neteller are under KYC , so every transaction you made will be traced.

Safest way is to sell it by yourself on Neteller or use trusted service like Bitpanda (for neteller). Or use Something like kraken for bank tranfer

P2P Neteller & Paypal are reversible. P2P Bank trasfer may came from stole account or fund can came from illegal acitivity....

Only an idiot would accept paypal and neteller without knowing how they work and why would I pay exchange fees instead of making a profit?

Edit: OBSOLETE, this video was for the old version of blockchain.info:

Heres a tutorial howto sign address at blockchain.info:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=S88ciN9DsRk

EDIT: WOW, blockchain.info as the biggest provider for BTC wallets cannot sign users own addresses and verify signatures.
That had been possible before and is very, very poor.
Better dont use Blockchain info. Almost Any other wallet can do that. ge: electrum.

Sorry its plain english but somehow not understandable what you want.

So before you sell you want to send it to the address shown in the pic?
Just write the amount you want to send and click on the button "Next".
But you opened the receive-tab. If you want to send you have to open the send tab.

If you want to proof the ownership, you dont need to send anything.
You just sign your address with todays date and maybe your username in this forum.
