I just finished a transaction with Sher earlier today and it couldn't have gone smoother. True, he did not use the release to charity option, so it was a risk on my part, but chatting with him over gtalk was reassuring. Considering his setup he looks to be more interested in consistent profits rather than pulling a few scams and getting out. He even went out at 11pm to a 24hr Western Union so he could release the coins from escrow immediately. Super fast service and answered all my questions. Will definitely work with him again.

On the other hand if he does the Western Union he has a written proof to show to clear coin
It is every persons personal opinion and I found other buyers for the BTC who trusted me and sent the payment as soon as I did the escrow.
That's cool, nice setup, must have cost a fortune. Looks like you put some effort into it with a nice water cooling system.
I'm glad I was wrong to be suspicious and you seem to be a good trader, so I hope no one will get ripped off.
Anyways, clearcoin doesn't mediate disputes though, so that's not an option.
Trusting one party is obviously a solution, but puts the whole deal in their hands and so many people have gotten burnt, that's not an option for me, unless they have a super high rating, and even then, not for so much value in the first trade.

Thanks. Well theres no water cooling there yet. I am planning to but it just would cost me way too much unless BTC skyrocket to $100 Wink.

Trusting someone depends on the individual and his policy. I do not blame you for being suspicious and in a way thanks to you it gets me in a better situation as everyone knows now that I am not a time waster.

Sher

No, clearcoin with refund back to you is not acceptable because you could get the western union and then cancel the clearcoin, getting the benefit of both sides of the deal.

That's only one of the many options... Just ask the buyer to choose one of the charity options instead, so they can't benefit from an escrow expiry/cancellation.

I declined his offer for the escrow going to charity because if the buyer backs out for whatever reason why should i lose my BTC's. On the other hand if he does the Western Union he has a written proof to show to clear coin

Here's an update:

Purchased 50 bitcoins, went smooth.
Paid first, then got bitcoins, no issues.
All well.

Second transaction, purchased 30, again all good.

Also, got good price to top it up  Smiley

I can say he is honest trader!

I am willing to sell for Amazon gift cards if you are interested - will pay above market value.  I've done a few of these before and its always been fine, and if the transaction goes well I will vouch for you here.

thanks for the offer but i dont need Amazon Gift Cards.

well its just a trust issue. GimEEE wants me to escrow the BTC to charity instead of returning it back to me and what if he doesn't pay me. After that he provides me with an escrow he created so i could fund it. When you provide me with an escrow and ask me to fund it you can easily release the funds to your account. It doesn't go that way GimEEE.

The exact message by GimEEE:

Actually, we don't even need clearcoin, I'll pay the western union fees if you send the btc first.

If you want to do the refund thing, that's fine too, here's the clearcoin page for that:
https://clearcoin.appspot.com/status/r_V8DUAuTWoQiB3vEfP9MED8
I don't know how the western union works, if you send coins or escrow the clearcoin page, I'll check it out.

The seller of the BTC creates the escrow. From my side since i know i am honest i can verify myself. I am new to bitcoins and therefore not a lot of people would be willing to verify me at the moment but I have done a few deals and you can see the 1st one i did on OTC. My ID there is Sher. You can check my ebay feedbacks: Sher1029.

The pics you ask for are confidential but i will show them to you later.

Please let us know how it goes, he wanted to have the clearcoin refund to himself, so I couldn't close a deal.

I have 100 BTC to sell only via Western Union or MoneyGram. Rate is as per the current market rate and the fees for the transfer I am willing to pay.

I will do the transaction via ClearCoin so that the Seller and Buyer are both at ease.

Sher
