For the sake of $40-$50 I'd rather just pay the premium and buy from JM Bullion. Accepts Bitcoin and in your hand in 1-2 days. Then your not guessing if it's fake or not.

Because if I bring them into a pawn shop, they're going to pay me 10% under spot. They're not stolen, I'll post a picture with the coins and my username.

You need to find a better dealer.

Have you tried getting a price from someone like apmex :

http://www.apmex.com/apmextop40

How trustable they are and how and to what countries do they send? Sending gold must have many complicated rules.

Why would you do that, unless they were like stolen or something?  Roll Eyes

What if they are stolen?
Btc is used mainly because obody can really see anything through. You're aware that hundreds of stolen and hacked acounts of whatever are sold on the forum every week? ^^
What??

OP, I might be stating the obvious,  but you could get more than spot by selling them on eBay.   And then you could use the proceeds to buy bitcoin.  It's smarter than trying to sell them here, where the market is thin.

After eBay fees, Paypal fees, and taxes, you will end up with less than spot, and it will take weeks instead of days.

And you'd have to give out your name, mail and adress through the PP and ebay account.

Hi everyone! I'm selling off my large collection of gold coins. I'm looking for someone to buy them for bitcoin.

I am offering them at spot price of gold (you can't get pieces that cheap from any retailer) and we will use the bitfinex price for bitcoin.

I have a lot of coins including 1 ounce Canada maple leafs, China gold panda 500 yuan coins (30g), as well as some others. If interested, please contact me on skype at Johnnie.AppleDick

We can find an escrow provider if you'd like. Open to suggestions as to who to use for escrow.
I am just curious how to deliver golds if we live in other countries? What documents will you provide for them?

How do we know they are real gold coins ??
Will you use escrow and refund if they are found fake

I think OP have agreed to use escrow services so i think their is no worry for it, but if he had posted the pictures that would have given more advantage for his selling post.

Thanks.
