Hello, I have lots of good stuff for sale but I have 1 little problem...

In my country it is far too expensive to send stuff with tracking (it costs about $70 for EU shipping).
And if I dont use tracking I will probably get scammed as buyer will simply say to escrow that they didnt receive item..

Any suggestions?

If that is the case then maybe you should really look into other options to ship. Because personally I have never paid $70 for shipping even for international shipments with tracking.

You shouldn’t really worry about it, as long as you notify the escrow and the buyer before you initiate a sale if you really want to send it without the tracking number.

The escrow should be a trusted person.

Remember that escrows have to hear both sides of the story before he releases anything. So if the buyer says that he never received it you should dispute that with the escrow.

The best way to avoid this? Move to another country because evidently your country is damn expensive lol Cheesy

That's why always communicate with escrow for every type of transaction that you are going to make and I guess escrows know this type of dispute. What are stuffs do you sell? May I know? Why not just include it to your service that fee for tracking. It's not that expensive if you are going to cover and secure your transaction.

If you can't offer cheap tracking service forget about it, nobody will want to pay high fees to buy clothes, accessories. Try to send your stuff inside your country, city. This way you can deliver cheap stuff without deliver costs for the customers. And don't worry aobut Bitcoins. You can sell it for fiat and convert profit later for Bitcoins.

Yes, sell your good stuff to your neighbor because no one will buy with +$70.

You could try finding an escrow who would be willing to accept the package themselves. That way they can confirm that they received the item as described and they could then send it on to the buyer with or without tracking.

This, except you will likely need to pay a fee around $10-40 to the escrow as well. Still less than $70, but potentially a substantial fee for the price of your item.

There are definitely ways to go about this problem albeit not necessarily convenient ones. Generally speaking, trusted members can usually be trusted so there's shouldn't be too much concern when selling to them. As far as non-trusted members go, maybe escrow is the only way forward..

It will be your word against his and probably escrow won't release the funds. I think that the best solution is by making the buyer pay for the shipping fees, I doubt that you are selling something so unique that someone can't find around the internet for a cheaper price without the huge shipping fees though.

I could suggest using a reship company like MyUS, Shipto etc... send your items to that generated address without paying the tracking option since that will cost you less money and they can't lie since they are both reputable companies then from there, you could ship it to people (note that some reship companies are based in U.S only and some of them offer only DHL and FedEx shipping which means they are expensive, so look for the right one for you).
